Some stats about top1000 most powerful or... list of good and naughty users | club75
Intro
That's the longest and most time-consuming post I have made since I joined Steemit platform. We all know that the value of STEEM is going down and number of active members dropped drastically in the last weeks, so I wanted to come with my ideas how we could fix it. I had to know exactly what is the situation on the platform before writing something though, so I have made some summary, manually visiting 1000 most powerful accounts on Steemit. I helped myself with steemworld.org website, built by @steemchiller. I believe everyone should read this post. Pretending that everything is perfectly well is like smoking a cigarette in a house with the fire. We are able to make Steemit great, I truly believe so, but we have to be aware of its problems and together find the solutions.
Here is what I discovered:
All blogger Steemians from top1000 who does not delegate to bots
Only 125 accounts, both in one of the club programs or in any of them, are writing regularly on the platform. I excluded from this group Steemians who delegate more than 10% of their SP to the bots, Steemians who power down or those who use their SP exclusively to self-upvote or to vote 5-15 accounts that probably belong to them as well (account farming).
12,5% of all users from top1000 are the bloggers, 6,6% belong to club5050, club75 or club100 and 5,9% does not belong to any of the clubs (mostly old users who remember times of Hive). Luckily the number of Steemians in the clubs is growing, so probably in a few months that percentage will double.
All curators from the Top1000
Some more powerful users do not write anymore, but they regularly read and upvote posts of other Steemians. In that group all steemcurators, booming accounts and the biggest community accounts were included. I excluded those who use their SP to upvote all the time 5-15 same accounts (account farming). There are 83 accounts like that (12 managed by Steemit, 71 of the private users). It's 8,3% of all accounts from the top1000
Together bloggers and curators create the group of "healthy" Steemians, who use the platform in a way it was designed to be used. For now it's only 20,8% of all the biggest accounts.

All users from top1000 who delegate at least 10% of their SP to the bid-bots
There are 340 accounts of that type (34%). Most of the Korean and Chinese members (many of them produce very low quality content, but each tenth person really writes something worth reading) as well as some other nationalities. Not all users who are in this category are bad. Some of them delegate only part of their SP and use the rest to make an amazing things. I bet nobody will doubt that @xpilar and many admins from that community who happen to be mentioned here are doing tremendous work and are very important/needed on Steemit. On the other hand other users who delegate to bots are sharing the meme from the internet once per day and getting 100 USD for that. I basically treat it as stealing.
If we would agree to separate the users who partially delegate to the bots or who help in developing Steemit platform in another way, we'd get approximately 30% of bid-boters and another 4% of valuable members we could add to the number of "healthy users", increasing it to almost 25%
*some of the best users who are partially delegating to bid-bots. Very valuable for Steemit because of their work as the witnesses, admins of the communities, CRs, and/or curators
All inactive Steemians from the list of top1000
Being inactive would not be so bad. In the end of the day it's just freezing STEEM and with time those accounts should drop from the list in a natural way. Unfortunately many of the mentioned inactive accounts are delegating their SP to the bots that reward them for the delegation even if they don't write anything. A lot of those users are not active since the Hive was created and that makes me suspect they are just milking Steemit to change mined STEEM into Hive and use on another platform.
There are 314 inactive accounts on the list of top1000. 31,4%. It's a lot and if banning the bidbots that send the money for delegations is impossible, we should at least be sure that our members are more powerful than accounts mentioned in the list below.
All Steemians from top1000 who are powering down more than 10% of their SP
The actual list is longer as I did not include here all the bid-bots that are powering-down regularly. Many of the users from the list were inactive before or were using bid-bots, and I do not regret they are leaving the platform, but there was also one person who described themselves on the profile as the witness as well as very respectful users who could not be replaced even with a thousand of Steemians writing just the Diary Game posts. I mean here @kiwi-crypto or @cryptokannon
Unfortunately 4,1% of the most powerful (41 users) powers down which means we may expect that in January the value of STEEM will drop even more. With proper actions we can minimize the lost though and make sure that February will be much better.

If someone has too much time and counted that we miss 109 users to summarize it to 1000 I recommend... to get a hobby :P No, kidding, I do adore counting everything as well. Otherwise I wouldn't prepare that post.
Remaining 109 users does not qualify to any of the other categories. That may be harmless readers who does not write neither upvote but regularly visit Steemit, but also it may be bloggers who use their SP to upvote exclusively their own posts. There are also groups of 5 to 15 accounts who upvote each others and nobody else. They were all probably created by the same person who is milking the platform by self-upvotes distributed between some fake accounts.

I'm leaving all those stats like that. My ideas on how to improve the platform I present in another publication. Writing it down here would be too much - my laptop is already not working properly as the post is much longer than anyone, including my processor, expected. I hope you will find this data interesting and useful. The situation on the platform is not the best right now, but as long as 25% of the strongest users are willing to fight for Steemit, I believe we can make it great someday and margin inactive members, 100% spam bidboters, or account farmers.

I believe that large accounts have the power to reverse everything that is over-cultivation, including the washing of Steem to other platforms and what to say about the immense shutdown of accounts, there are so many problems !! What could perhaps several dolphins do that only publish small daily newspapers, I think that those with more power of influence must face this situation, and make steemit the ecosystem that has always been dreamed of, and the rest of the dolphins like me we will follow. the direction and the support to take steemit forward. Great job folks, admirable, standing applause !!
Yes, a lot of problems and very little of actions to change something the future. Being single, double or even triple dolphin does not give enough power to truly change something so basically the platform remains strongly centralized for now. It can be change, but the first step will be to make sure those who are on the top truly want that and able to invest in steetit to achieve it.
