Moscow, Russia
After the supermarket trip that took me most of the day, I decided to opt for some night action! I googled up some night clubs (even if it was Tuesday night) and decided to go for this “avant-garde” alternative club called Dom (дом, a house in Russian). After over an hour looking for it, turned out it’s open only some nights of the week, apparently for special events and such. (from the window I saw some sort of dancing practice going on).
Started to get hungry so on the way to B-2 (one of the biggest nightclubs in Europe according to their website) I stopped for some e-mail (wth?).
The club was in 5 floors, of which only the 3rd floor (jazz was open). This was perfect for me because the was a nice local live band and people were happily dancing to it, providing me few hours of entertainment 🙂
A hotel on the way, the top floor red lights were flashing. Nice.
At the jazz club, there was also shisha pipes that smelled so good, I wanted a puff. Only they cost 800R wtf? (18e). I opted for regular cigs.
Funny how the club looked too. Almost passed by it. I was expecting a fancy exterior with tough bouncers (had 200R stashed in my sleeve in case I needed to bribe someone to get in). Instead, it looked just like a normal bar. After minimal security check (even got my Leatherman in) I got in. Would be nice to see how this place is cooking in the weekend. At least the jazz club I can highly recommend. Just stay clear of the overpriced shisha
