Travel | 17. Trans-Siberian train – day4
I barely had my breakfast (instant soup, what else) when Kiril rushes to invite me over to their car for some vodka and beer. It was noon btw. Apparently, it was Anton’s 26th birthday so how could I refuse? 🙂
After destroying the first 5l of beer and a bottle of vodka along with nicest beefsteaks, mashed potatoes and apples, we moved the party to restaurant car (which was once again empty). We pooled our money and managed to get 2 more bottles of vodka, some amazing borscht, bread and apples. This is the way to travel well!!
The weather was awesome too. The bestest of days!
The restaurant staff was very friendly too! And not just because we were the only clients 🙂
Yes, I borrowed the jacket of a provodnitsa.
Drunken happy times!
These are some of my notes I used to have a conversation with people. It is a mix between Pictionary, alias and pantomime really 🙂
Sometime in the night I managed (luckily) pack my bag and only lost my leatherman. Last memory is drinking someone’s awful whisky. Next thing I know, I wake up fully dressed and ready to go with my bag in my arms 🙂
