Evergreen Candytuft, Iberis Sempervirens

in #gardening9 years ago (edited)

Women and flowers ... tell me about it. Why are we so crazy about them? I love them but prefer them un-plucked. Do you love flowers and would want a lot in your garden but would not want much work and maintaining to do? Get yourself a pot or two or an Evergreen Candytuft, Iberis Sempervirens and watch it propagate like grass year after year. The flowers of the ones I have in my backyard have served as giant umbrellas to hide for the Bombus Muscorum , those sand bees @afrog has identified in our backyard and they were food in Spring for the early zealous Apis Melliferas.

"I love them and prefer them unplucked"

Are we talking about the women or the flowers. ;)

hmmm... you men
the woman should be plucked
what a pity to die a virgin
that coming from a woman herself

woman - woman lets clarify that
woman not girls

Thank you for posting @englishtchrivy.

The photographs are beautiful......one never tires of looking at flowers.....thank you for introducing this one....Evergreen Candytuft.

Sorry about the ants.......ants are trouble indeed.

All the best to you. Abientotlater.

thank you my dear
the ants ate the eggs
I guess they ate the mom first
my guess is the mom died and got worn out already
her time
I saw one head of the baby moss bee
so it was almost hatched I guess
i just threw the moldy eggs away
I was so excited waiting for them to hatch and buzz unfortunately .. maybe next year again :(
