Finally Downloaded Eclipse Today! My First Program On This Laptop!
Eclipse is a free Java programming software that is a great way to learn code. If you take the time to go through my older CS (Computer Science) lessons, you can learn it too!
This program is a basic concept of Abstract Classes and Methods. It is also an example of how you can "call" methods and learn true programming skills. Abstract Class: Shapes. Subclasses: Circle and Square. Enjoy! Yes, I did copy paste this into Word, but it runs in Eclipse!
Reference and program from the AP Computer Science A Barron's Textbook!

Nothing wrong with copy and paste for this. Thanks.
Haha. Thanks. Teaching Java makes it way easier. Maybe I'm just older, so I understand it better.
@hansenator,
Yeah Eclipse is the best! And there are a lot of modified versions of it! I also used it! Netbeans I used first then shifted to Eclipse! Great lesson by using it!
Cheers~
It was the first program we made that calls methods and uses classes.
Great..
Thank you!
