Darago is the capital of Primeria and home to a population of approximately 3.7 million people - practically all of whom are followers of the Decideist faith and its Holy Book, The Grammon.

While there are thousands of copies of the Grammon in the world, the original, penned by Bira the Chosen, is housed and preserved within the great temple in the centre of the city. Ninety-Nine other Decideist temples reside in the city of Darago, and much like Yazira, only in said temples is magic permitted, when in accordance with the Father's will. Any who are charged with conducting magick outside of the city's temples are exiled from the continent, most often to the prison island of Zarakash.

Darago has a fairly active port, with large iron gates permitting none but sanctioned vessels to leave or to arrive. Most ships are occupied by merchants or Decidein children leaving or returning from year long journeys known as the "Great Feast," a pilgrimage taken by every Decidein child upon the arrival of their 12th birthday. Gold issued from the Principal Banking Institute, some times referred to as the Bank of Banks, is often delivered or returned (with interest) in large quantities to and from the port in Darago, always accompanied by a number of battleships from the Primerian fleet.

Any practising Decideist is granted free passage to the city of Darago from anywhere in the world, so long as they are able to demonstrate their knowledge of the Grammon. Upon arrival, they are offered a home and a role within the community, as well as a weekly boon of silver.

The city of Darago was built upon the location of a great massacre, and hundreds of thousands of skeletons are said to be buried beneath the foundations of the city.

The Capital of Primeria is also home to some three hundred theatres. However, it is known that the content of the plays shown in the Primerian theatres differs largely from that of those in the inland continents of Manaia.
