A few days ago I learned about the passing of Veteran Emcee Craig Mack while I was one my stopover in NYC. Back in '94 the original dropped on Bad Boy Records and was an instant classic. Remixes dropped and over the years this jam always stood the test of time.

Rest In Peace to the OG. Having passes away from heart failure on March 12th, Craig Mack was a young 47 years old. Seems to be the current trend these days with Hip Hop legends passing way too soon. So with that, make sure to take care of your health and always live in the moment and do as much as you can in this life, you only get ONE!

Sad he never really had a true chance to shine... Once Biggie came on the scene, everyone forgot about Craig. I remember Flava in ya ear because of Busta Rhymes and LL Cool J. The remix with them in it blew my mind when I first heard it. Was my first taste of Busta and LL Cool J, and I had so much respect for those two.
Sad to see such a young man pass... It definitely is true, we don't have shit if we don't have our health. Serious shit.

DUDE! I had no idea this was a Craig Mack song I've come across it often on freestyles and in movies. Rest in peace...and it's a shame so many great MCs are succumbing to health issues. Phife Dawg died in his mid 40's too :/
