I've always loved the lyrical direction Lupe Fiasco has taken throughout the course of his career but at times I have difficulty being a fan. Although Made in the USA is not new to his fans, it is the first track off his latest album Drogas Light to have visuals.
To me it was more about the simplicity of the song and how it uses the current Trap sound allow you to soak the lyrics in. He flips the often lyrically lacking vocals that tend to accompany this style by really hitting home the point he's trying to make on Made in the USA. Let me know what you think.

It's been almost a decade since I listened to Lupe Fiasco, possibly for the same reason as you. Nevertheless, one aspect he's been able to keep is consistent in quality lyrics with substance. This track is a prime example of how to teach knowledge and awareness for the current youths.
