Exchange Transfer Report: 4/29/2018 to 5/5/2018

in exchangereport •  2 years ago

USD values are calculated per day via API feeds from Cryptocompare (for STEEM and SBD values in BTC) and Coindesk (for USD value of BTC). For the top 50 reports in USD terms, I take the average USD value for STEEM and SBD for the week using the daily closing price which came out to:

  • STEEM: $3.95418
  • SBD: $3.36914

Previous Report:

  • STEEM: $3.78288
  • SBD: $2.05107

Assumptions

Please see the first report for a detailed explanation of my personal assumptions related to what this data could mean (along with commentary on previous reports). What it does not show is people powering up, powering down, or if they are buying or selling on an exchange. It's just some interesting data dealing with transfers to and from exchange accounts.

Linked Accounts

hitbtc includes hitbtc-exchange and hitbtc-payout, freewallet.org includes freewallet, openledger includes openledger-dex, binance includes binance-hot and deepcrypto8, upbit includes upbit-exchange and myupbit, gopax includes gopax and gopax-deposit, and huobi includes huobi-pro and huobi-withdrawal.

Commentary

  • The withdrawal to deposit ratio is up to 4.73 which is the highest since we've been tracking it.

  • Looks like valueup took a lot of value out. :)

  • thegoldengoose tops the deposits by far and appears to be a fan of minnowbooster.

  • I've been doing this report for quite some time and this is the first time I've been on it myself. I transitioned some STEEM into some other formats. :)

  • Powering down this week is 7.81% lower than last week.

it's too informative post, thanks for sharing....

Whenever I see the number of power down has decreased, It simply means they still have faith in the system. Steem is still moving up and down the scale and not yet balanced. @thegoldengoose, that really huge

Steem and sbd seems to not have found their balance.

Can't wait till they moon

Dear @lukestokes, you are indeed doing a very good job here on this platform and From me I say you deserve an accolade.
but steem and sbd are still trying to be balance for the main. but Until then, I see a promising future in steem and sbd.
Thanks for this breakdown given here on your post

Steem and SBD are not stable for the main time, but hoping to see it grow, as we keep adding value to the blockchain. Thanks @lukestokes for sharing!

I am sure you are already aware of this but I just wanted this to share some of my worries here. A lot noise is being made that senior members of steemit are more into EOS now and steemit is going to be left behind.
On and off I have been butting my head against this debate up until a month ago where I reached a conclusion and finally settled down a bit.
Your videos have been a great help in helping to soothe a lot of the worries that I had. So thanks for that :-)
I wanted to put my thought together and make a post today and I sat down, only to see this post in my feed :
https://steemit.com/steemit/@pandorasbox/eos-to-build-a-competitor-to-steemit-will-steem-survive-eos-long
As read it I felt that is guy went in my head and took some of the words out and wrote them for me.

Very nice! The price of steem and SBD compared to last time is now higher. That's a good news for all of us here.

When you see such high deposits, you somewhat hope you are getting a new member of the community that will make the ecosystem a better place.... but nope. Give everything to minnowbooster. Ugh. The whale, dolphin pool is just so shallow with everyone delegating to bots. Such a tasking job getting yourself to trending without bot buying. And even then you would need to throw like 200-300 SBD at the post.

I don’t use big bots nor do I recommend anyone else do it either. I can see a case for occasional promotion, but that’s it. I need to do a post on this. If there were no one using bid bots, there’d be no market for them.

This is one of the best stat posts I like to follow. Thanks for the head up always. And do have a happy weekend holidays.

@eurogee

Just outstanding..and greatly appreciated..yesterday I stated in latest market post..Bitcoin action and Steem needing to find solid support about 3.50..so far so good..and BTC analysis which (fortunately) has been accurated..(so far.!)

informative post...thanks for sharing

a very interesting explanation to read and I follow, as of some of them do on the basis of the necessities of life, and yes whatever it is steem and sbd must be in the best place
