Exchange Transfer Report: 1/15/2017 to 1/21/2017
USD values are calculated per day via API feeds from Poloniex (for STEEM and SBD values in BTC) and Coindesk (for USD value of BTC). For the hourly breakdown graphs, I show the USD values using the weighted average for that day. For the top 50 reports in USD terms, I then took the average USD value for STEEM and SBD for the week using the daily average which came out to:

- SBD: $1.00998

Assumptions
Please see the first report for a detailed explanation of my personal assumptions related to what this data could mean (along with commentary on previous reports). What it does not show is people powering up, powering down, or if they are buying or selling on an exchange. It's just some interesting data dealing with transfers to and from exchange accounts.

Sorry, this week's report is a day late.
Steemit, Inc is making payroll again at the tune of $81k USD.
@berniesanders and @steemed are still powering down and cashing out as well.
The withdrawal ratio still looks pretty bad at 6.26 to 1. At the rate, how is the price being maintained?
Could it be @thejohalfiles, @renohq, and @fulltimegeek floating the price? What do they see that 6.26 to 1 other people don't? Only time will tell.
The powerdown amounts for next week are green across the board. Could that signal a price increase?

Just barely. :) Unfortunately it's becoming easier and easier to land on that list with smaller and smaller amounts.
I think mid February will be the withdraw peak, it will go down after that.
Why do you think so?
Has to do with the shortened power down schedule and when it was implemented. If you started to power down when it was reduced your final payout would be the middle of next month.
I personally do not think their power downs would effect the market much, one would hope they had investors to sell to.
Ah yes, makes sense to me. I wonder though, will @ned and @dantheman start powering down again? They said they would wait out the first 3 months, if I recall.
