Exchange Transfer Report: 9/17/2017 to 9/23/2017
I'm adding a new section to this report today. Something I've been curious about. How much value is currently stored on the top exchanges?
Numbers are in thousands so one million would show up as 1,000 K.

I'll be keeping an eye on these numbers and how they change over time.
USD values are calculated per day via API feeds from Poloniex (for STEEM and SBD values in BTC) and Coindesk (for USD value of BTC). For the top 50 reports in USD terms, I take the average USD value for STEEM and SBD for the week using the daily average which came out to:
- STEEM: $1.01182
- SBD: $0.93555

Assumptions
Please see the first report for a detailed explanation of my personal assumptions related to what this data could mean (along with commentary on previous reports). What it does not show is people powering up, powering down, or if they are buying or selling on an exchange. It's just some interesting data dealing with transfers to and from exchange accounts.

Commentary
The withdrawal to deposit ratio is still coming down at 6.35 to 1!
@poloniex is working again but still, I won't use them.
@hwawol tops the deposit list this week and according to their wallet, they've been buying for a long time.
The powerdown amounts for next week is in the green at 19.49%. I'm publishing this again on Sunday night as I have the last few weeks, so keep that in mind.
I like Sbd and Steem transfers because they're with no commission required
Th disparity between withdrawals and deposits is still huge however after the update, I hope to see massive deposites and I want to be part of the deposit. Good job from you my bud .Do not forget to see my last two post on how to use strategic management tools in eliminating your weaknesses and at the same time using your strengths in a more advantageous way...I wish you more success

Super cool to see this info specially the amounts some people are withdrawing from this platform. It is absolutly incredible and life changeing in the same time. One more reason to motivate our selfs!
The conclusion: Always Steem On!
Looking at all the values i still wonder if the value of steem will actually go up to over 10$ mark. Right now i jist need to get my jands on a d3 miner so i can consistently invest into steem everyday.Thanks for your article @rogerblu
I can't imagine why so many are powering down at this point in time with the current value of STEEM. I've used the low price as a buying / powerup opportunity and my vote value at 100% is now over $0.40! May not seem like much to some people but it's exciting for me since only two months ago it was less than 5 cents.
Thanks for posting these statistics as I usually enjoy seeing reports regarding the status of our community and currency.
