Exchange Transfer Report: 10/23/2016 to 10/29/2016

in stats •  2 years ago

USD values are calculated per day via API feeds from Poloniex (for STEEM and SBD values in BTC) and Coindesk (for USD value of BTC). For the hourly breakdown graphs, I show the USD values using the weighted average for that day. For the top 50 reports in USD terms, I then took the average USD value for STEEM and SBD for the week using the daily average which came out to:

  • STEEM: $0.17093
  • SBD: $0.92329

Previous Report:

  • STEEM: $0.24416
  • SBD: $0.92264

Please see the first report for a detailed explanation of my personal assumptions related to what this data could mean (along with commentary on previous reports). What it does not show is people powering up, powering down, or if they are buying or selling on an exchange. It's just some interesting data dealing with transfers to and from exchange accounts.

  • Sorry this week's report is out a little later than normal, and I'm not going to add any commentary. I've got a stomach bug today and am not feeling too well. :(

Get better! and thanks for this info. Nice badge also :)

Thanks. :) I feel kinda special having it all custom made and stuff. :)

No bottom in sight with a ratio of 4.19 to 1.

Yeah, I was hopeful that number was going to head the other direction, but with the price going down as it has, why would it? I feel like the stupid one for not powering down and holding this whole time. Anyone else could get in really cheaply now.

On the flip side, "anyone else" wouldn't have the blog history and reputation I've been working to build. That's hopefully worth something.

Great report! Thank you for sharing.

A very good report.

Thanks. :) I spent today in bed and was able to eat some rice and a bit of dinner. Starting to feel better already. Hoping tomorrow I'll be good as new. :)

Plenty of water usually helps :)

Your numbers are not helping this wedge breakout too much.

Yeah, I'm really curious where this will end up. Those who stayed on the sidelines during all this are just laughing their heads off to think they can get in now with a small investment compared to those who dropped a lot of money early on. I wonder how many people are just waiting to see where the bottom is before they pounce on it.
