#1 Koh Lipe - The Maldives of Thailand: Sunset Beach

@bejaunt takes us to the most Southern Island of Thailand, Koh Lipe. If you're looking for a paradise island, this is it: crystal clear water, white beaches and barely any cars on the island. You can cover the whole island in a small two hour hike. @bejaunt is staying around Sunset Beach, which is the quietest of the three beaches to be found. It consists out of sandy bays with rocks in between. This makes it great for snorkeling. Staying in a little hut with a beach view from the window adds up to the beauty of the experience.

#2 The Costa Rican Craft Brewing Company

@mikesthoughts takes us to a brewery near Cartago, Costa Rica. When you think of Costa Rica, beer is probably not the first thing that comes to mind. After ending up posing as an international photojournalist, he finds himself on a private tour of the brewery. Well, after he finds where it is, that is. In Costa Rica, you don't really have addresses, but rather description of where to find a certain place based on landmarks (I know this from experience too, haha)! There used to be only one brewery in Costa Rica, with mediocre beers, something The Costa Rican Craft Brewing Company wants to change. After only being in business for three years, they have to move to a bigger location due to extensive growth. There are several beers @mikesthoughts tries out and if we have to believe him all of them are pretty spectacular, can't wait to try them myself next time I find myself in Costa Rica!

#3 How Strangers Can Change Everything - Morocco

@liquidtravel takes us to Volubilis in Morocco. A completely unplanned part of his journey. Whilst planning his further travel from Rabat to Fez in a cafe a man strikes up conversation with him, and can't believe that as an archaeologist @liquidtravel had never heard of Volubilis. Around the 1st century BC, it became under Roman occupation and grew to be capital of the Roman-Berber Kingdom Mauretania. Being assured it was only a small detour @liquidtravel decides to take a look. The closest city was Meknes, little did @liquidtravel know it was still 33km away after he set out on foot! After walking for several hours and eventually taking a cab, he ends up in Volubilis, only to arrive when they were about to close up for the day. Luckily a guide showed up and took pity on him, showing him all the sights whilst providing information. It seems @liquidtravel's luck had turned, as he was allowed to stay even after closing time and was offered a ride back to Meknes.
