🎬 Must See TV Shows - #41 - Mars

in #film6 years ago

Colonizing Mars in 2033.

Lets pause the horror with The Descent & Nightmare on Elm Street a bit and go over to something a bit more interesting, and spacey.

The show I can recommend watching today is: MARS

This is an interesting show, but not for everyone.

Mars is something in between fact and fiction, if you are looking for something with action and aliens, this is NOT what you are looking for. However if you are looking for current knowledge about Mars, and what is plausible and also thoughts of those trying to reach mars, well sort of looking at it as a documentary, this is what you want to watch.

This show is very different from others, and it should be seen as informative and a plausible future event, it is deffinently not unrealistic, and is quite interesting to watch.

this is a story well told on how we could posibly colonize Mars in the near future, the show skips between years showing 2033 mostly, but also goes back to 2016 with interviews of relevant people, even Elon Musk is in it as well, which does make sense as he owns SpaceX which mission is to goto Mars.

the cast used for this show is fine, there isnt need for star power in this show, and I must admit I didnt even notice how the acting was because it is like they are not acting, but just acting normal, get it?

In overall this show is surely worth a watch if you are a little interested in whats out there beyond earth, this gives a good picture of whats next in space history as, well.. It does seam that going to Mars is what SpaceX is aiming at, and I think it will happend at a time. But why they want to go to Mars is beyond my understanding, as if I was in charge of choosing a planet, Mars would not be the location, but thats a whole other discussion.

Im adding this show to my list because it is interesting and actually a good watch, I must however admit that if this show was like 24 episodes with 1 hour, I might have passed. As it is only 6 episodes for first season it is doable, (I hardly ever watch something that just is alike documentarys).

Could I watch this tv-show again?
Nope, as its basicly just information shown in new way, its worth watching once.

Some might say I should rate the movies, but with the way I do it its pretty hard to rate them, because I only write about movies that I recommend for watching, I dont write about the ones I dont want to see or stopped watching because I thought it was garbage. So by that I wont be rating the movies that I recommend, they are all on the high scale.

This show takes a output in showing the posibility of the first manned mission to mars taking place in 2033.

For TV-Shows it is quite alright to check out the trailer, depending on the age of the trailer, as you can easily get fooled and finding a quick recap of the first season of the show, and that would kinda suck.
So when watching trailers for tv-shows, be sure it is one of the first trailers that came out, to ensure there are not too many spoilers, but still informfull enough to give you an idea about the show

I hope you enjoyed reading this, and will consider watching this tv-show, as this is deffinently one of the better tv-shows out there.
