Alright, action time, so yesterday we looked at Dexter and before that Under The Dome. Now we need a change of genrer!!

If you like game of thrones, you will probably like Vikings as well! its not the same of course, but vikings do have some unexpected twists and a very very good story to tell. One of the things you cant complain about in Vikings is action, there is quite alot of that, and it doesnt even take long before the first action starts, and some very large drama starts.

This show is not one of those shows you can just watch on the side while doing something else, like gaming or something, it does need alot of attention as there is alot of talking, this is usually a bad thing for me, but it works out quite fine in this show, but that is only because there is lots of backstabbing and whispers that will make sense later on.

This show actually caught me swiftly, I was hooked before seeing the first episode, strange right? I like the history of vikings (maybe because im from Denmark) which is why I knew I had to see this show, I was a little confused at the first episode because I couldnt understand the english they were speaking, turned out it was swedish and that made alot more sense! I surely thought oh noes, is this show gonna be in swedish, as they spoke it for a while, but luckily it turns on to english again, so dont turn it off too soon!

The actors in vikings were in the start very unknown to me, but its different now as Travis Fimmel is also starred in movies such as Warcraft and co-star Clive Standen is in the TV series Taken based on the movies. So I would say its a good cast they got for this show, and the effects on the battles are awesome to watch.

Vikings follows the journey of a Viking, Ragnar Lothbrok, who dreams of setting out of the Norse empire to expand their territory, and see new things.

For TV-Shows it is quite alright to check out the trailer, depending on the age of the trailer, as you can easily get fooled and finding a quick recap of the first season of the show, and that would kinda suck.
So when watching trailers for tv-shows, be sure it is one of the first trailers that came out, to ensure there are not too many spoilers, but still informfull enough to give you an idea about the show
