🎬 Must See TV Shows - Part 7 - Ozark

We have now come to part 7, in my journey of finding you the best tv shows out there worth to check out.
As there are a huge list of tv-shows it can be very hard to figure out what to watch, and what is simply not worth the time, and time can be very important and critical, I know that for me time isnt something that grows on trees, I probably have time to watch a tops of 2 hours entertaintment per day that I choose, and this time normally falls on tv-shows, as it is easier to find time to watch an episode rather than watching an entire movie, thats how it is for me having twins and a wife that spends up almost all of my time.
The show I can recommend watching today is: Ozark

Imdb/Rotten tomatoes: 8.5 & 63% / 92%
In overall it seams that this is a show for the audience, and not the critics looking at both imdb and rotten tomatoes.
I must admit that Ozark was surprisingly good, as when I saw it came I only checked it out because of Jason Bateman, and his acting in this show kept me going, as everything he does feels credible - from the family quarrels with wife Wendy (Laura Linney) and the two children Charlotte and Jonah to the tough negotiations with Ozark obscure residents. He can deliver a line or just a look so you instantly understand where he wants to go. The acting all around in this show is amazingly good!
Ozark also uses a narrative structure that plays the viewer's understanding. Each episode starts with a scene that is reversed at the end at the episode, where it has gotten a whole new meaning.
I liked Breaking bad alot, and Ozark isnt exactly the same, but somehow it is the same kind of base idea, and it is executed very good, as Breaking Bad was about drugs, Ozark is about laundering drugmoney, so in some way they could be connected on a very deep level. I can higly recommend giving this show a shot at least 3 episodes and you should get hooked on it.
Ozark is about a financial advisor in Chicago, who gets in trouble as his partner was stealing money from a Mexican drug cartel while doing money laundry for them. This becomes Marty Byrde's problem if he wishes to stay alive along with his family, and is forced to pack up everything and move to a small place called Ozark, where he is to setup shop for this cartel and launder an unrealistic amount of money for them so they wont kill him and his family.
For TV-Shows it is quite alright to check out the trailer, depending on the age of the trailer, as you can easily get fooled and finding a quick recap of the first season of the show, and that would kinda suck.
So when watching trailers for tv-shows, be sure it is one of the first trailers that came out, to ensure there are not too many spoilers, but still informfull enough to give you an idea about the show
