Index to crypto with Bit Brain - Part 2

in #cryptocurrency6 years ago

This is my second index of my own posts

My first can be found below. There is a lot of great stuff in it, like my series on understanding crypto vs fiat money and the battle between them, or the post where how I explained the importance of being realistic and how you aren't realistic, even though you may think you are.

Index Part 1: https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@bitbrain/index-to-crypto-with-bit-brain

Each entry of this post will be the post title, a short description and maybe a little feedback on what has happened since. Post titles for each will be click-able to take you to the respective posts.

Here is a picture of a fire I made. For no other reason than "I like fire" and "I need a pic for this post".

Index to crypto with Bit Brain - Part 2

From Oldest to newest:

"WEAK HANDS"

  • Not my normal kind of post! I felt creative, I wrote a poem. It's humorous, it's insulting, it talks about crypto - me in a nutshell.

Moving Sideways

  • I called the end of the bear market (correctly), gave a few words of caution and advice for the climb to come.

How to trade crypto

  • I cautioned against trading crypto and spoke about how to invest in it instead. I covered the hodl strategy and discussed making your own recipe for success.

Verge - what's going on?

  • A few passing remarks on the strange behaviour of the coin.
  • It's still strange and still being treated like a large pump-and-dump at times. I don't trust it any more and I no longer want to buy it.

Crypto shopping cart - 18 April

  • What it says on the label. I bought LociCoin, Covesting, CargoX and Envion.
  • Probably exactly what I would advise you to buy if you asked me today. These are still all excellent coins to buy!

Back to normal

  • I wrote about how the market had turned bullish again. At this stage most people were still adamant that the bear market was still underway. (They should have read my post about being realistic as mentioned in the intro!)
  • I was right - again.

What to buy in crypto RIGHT NOW!

  • Crypto advice doesn't get any more direct than this post. I suggested the best buys in the high, medium and low market cap brackets and then a few slightly less sure alternative buys. The advice is still applicable, those are great coins to hold when the market runs.

Whoa boy!

  • I could see the bull run starting to take off too fast and a cautioned that a correction was coming soon. It came almost right after my post. (Are you keeping score of how many things I predict correctly? You should - it's impressive. 😎)

BITCOIN PREDICTIONS by Bit Brain

  • I looked at the accuracy of my own market predictions. I did pretty well. (If I do say so myself.)

Prediction competitions

  • I suggested a few prediction competitions that I regularly participate in on Steemit. I still participate in them and I still win a few. You should try them.

A look at the latest trendlines - after the bear attack

  • Well actually my heading said "lastest". My apologies for the spelling error.
  • I recalibrated and presented my take on long-term crypto trendlines. Bit Brain followers should know that I base a lot of my predictions on those very lines (or technically - on the underlying market influences that cause those lines). They're important.

Cryptocurrency Spotlight - CargoX

  • One of my "spotlight" series, I did a full review of CargoX.
  • If you listen to nothing else in this post then listen to this:
"At the moment CargoX is the single best cryptocurrency for short and medium-term returns".
  • Don't say I didn't tell you! I am insanely bullish on this token. BUY IT! Take all your Ethereum, send it to KuCoin, and buy CargoX. You'll thank me... (I accept STEEM and SBD "thanks" 🤑 - 10% should cut it - I don't want to be greedy.)

CAUTION! STEEP HILL!

  • Another post warning about the dangers of prices rising too fast.

Correcting the climb

  • A correction happened, like I had warned about the day before (another one for Bit Brain on the scoreboard). I took the opportunity to chastise the weak handed traders again.

10 second post

  • I was working (my normal job) that night and didn't have time for a long post. I took a quick look at the charts and predicted that the climb would resume "within the next one to three hours". It started two hours after I posted. I should really start charging for my predictions!

Did we pick the right coins?

  • I looked at the post a week back where I had recommended coins to buy. It was a very early look, but I did it anyway. Predictably I was pretty much dead average compared to the market in general. I'll come back to this post a few more times... (it will really come into its own during the major bull runs to come).

Your TA sucks! And so does his, and hers, and that pro guy's...

  • Back on the offensive, I attacked the over-reliance on TA that is typical of many crypto investors.

Are you still in denial?

  • A discussion about investors who couldn't let go of the fact that the bear market was over. Some of them still exist to this day.

I'm expecting a nice run today (10 second post)

  • The post is what the title says it is. Well that's one on the negative side of my scoreboard, I got it properly wrong!

Market Cycle position - Cryptocurrencies

  • A look at the popular "Market Cycle" diagram and where I think we currently lie on it. Pretty sure I called this one spot on.

Give the bots a chance

  • After doing a bit of bot-watching and bot research I decided to try a bot. I picked the most honest and uncorrupt one that I could find (I hate most bots, they ruin Steemit). The experiment is still under way and is "inconclusive" at this stage. I haven't made anything yet, but I don't expect to for about another month.

I DON'T SEE THE GOOD NEWS!

  • For those who never seem to see the good news in crypto. It still amazes me how many of these "selective-sight" people there are! My post force-fed them just 24 hours worth of news. It's worth a look.

I've never seen Wireless Internet before...

  • A non-standard photography based post. It features a large bird and my internet antenna. Pretty cool pic.

HISTORY DOESN'T REPEAT. Does it?

  • I argued against the "bubble" theorists again. I showed how crypto moves in a series of hype cycles and how common these "bubbles" are. I also showed how crypto coins can "Moon" more that once in their lives (they actually do so relatively often).

I WAS going to write a post about KuCoin exchange but...

  • This post turned into a continuation of my previous post (the bubble one). It's written in the form of a reply to a comment. It dealt mainly with trendlines and logarithmic growth.
  • I must still do that post about KuCoin...

Bitcoin cash about to get a podium position? (10 second post)

  • Oops. Got this one wrong too. The drop in the market threw my timeline off. I'm still confident that BCH will overtake XRP, just not as soon as I said it would. 😕

Fighting Governments

  • Tired of my endless fights against government, I was inspired to write this post. I pointed out how governments are setting themselves up to fail and how flawed democracies are. I proposed my brilliant solution: The Blockchain-based Electronic Direct Democracy. Not a typical crypto post, but probably even more important.

Ready for a pullback?

  • I correctly predicted the pullback.

The details of a Blockchain-based Electronic Direct Democracy

  • A thought experiment into how my Blockchain-based Electronic Direct Democracy would work. If there is any justice in this world then I may live to see the dawn of these before I die.

You're never too old to make mistakes

  • I spoke about some FUD that I fell for. Shame on me.

It looks like I'm right about the pullback I predicted

  • An updated look at the progress of the pullback which I had predicted three days earlier. I also called the bottom, but I think I missed (it may still happen, but I really doubt it).

"Earn Bitcoins while using Google Chrome!" OH HELL NO!

  • I debunk the "Chrome browser BTC miner extension" and call it what it is - a scam.

THE NEWS THAT CRASHED THE MARKET... (Not)

  • A look at the relationship between news and the performance of the crypto markets. I use recent examples and explain what really drives markets.

Update on the pullback (10 second post)

  • Yet another update on the pullback. I entertain the possibility that it may be over, or it may not. At this stage I still can't say with confidence. I'm leaning towards "prematurely over".

Question and Answer with Bit Brain

  • A post about my thoughts on Warren Buffet and his statement about diversification of a portfolio.!

That's another month worth of posts done and dusted. What did you like, what didn't you like? What would you like to see more of?

Yours in crypto,
Bit Brain

Great post sir. Very informative; I learned quite a few new things! You definitely make some valid points and I never liked the bots until now you've given me a reason to perhaps give them a shot.

Many have advised against me using Chrome and I usually only use it for social media and than another browser for trading/accessing wallets or exchanges. I like how you are honest in your experiences/explanations instead of other bloggers who act like they know everything. Your disclaimer is very humble/modest.

It's definitely a lot of information to pour through at once; how did you link other posts in this post? I never knew you could do that. Anyway; peace & love brother. Keep it up! Upvoted.

Good to see you popping around. Sorry I commented so fast on your post yesterday, I'll try to turn down the speed on my speed reading ability! 😜

I link to posts like this: put the text you want to display in square brackets [text goes here] and then directly after them put the link in rounded brackets (link in here). Put the two together with no space between the right-hand square bracket and the left-hand round bracket. Voila, done.

I'll follow you and keep an eye, being careful to wait half an hour before replying! 😂

It's all good sir. I'm the one who should apologize. I was frustrated that I spent a lot of time writing that blog post and that I couldn't edit it after forgetting to proofread/fix the mistakes I made when writing it. It's not your fault; I was just in a bad mood. Again I'm sorry.

Followed as well :) You have some really interesting/informative blogs! Thanks for teaching me how to link blogs/posts; I had no idea.

This is why I love Steemit; we began with a disagreement yet I ended up learning new things from you and now we're following each other, learning from each other.

You won't find that kind of support or positive encouragement on any other social networking platform.

You're just lucky you caught me in a good mood... 😂

Looking forward to future learning, as always.
