Index to crypto with Bit Brain
I've been at this for almost a month now.
Before I start to lose track of what I have done, I'll create my first index of my own posts. After this I aim to repeat this near the middle of each month.
I'll link to each post, give a one line description and mention any relative feedback - for example, how any predictions turned out.
Index to crypto with Bit Brain
In order from oldest to newest:
- Crypto Markets March 2018 - up or down?
- My very first post. I predicted the return of the bull market. Looks like that is now underway.
- Crypto market bull run?
- I suspected that a large jump in the market might be the start of the bull run. But I knew it wasn't certain. It wasn't the start of the bull run.
- Cryptocurrency Spotlight – Merca coin
- https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@bitbrain/cryptocurrency-spotlight-merca-coin
- I presented the (risky) potential investment of the Merca coin of Mercatox exchange. It's still there, it's still risky, it still might go big.
- Crypto shopping cart - 21 March
- https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@bitbrain/crypto-shopping-cart-21-march
- My first shopping cart post. I bought CargoX, Loci coin, Envion and DeepBrain Chain. I still consider all of those to be very worthy investments.
- Quick crypto news before I kill my PC
- https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@bitbrain/quick-crypto-news-before-i-kill-my-pc
- I was about to start a major PC hardware change and I feared that I would be unable to post for a day or two. I shared one or two positive news snippets. This was also the time that the "Death Cross" term was starting to get thrown around (remember that rubbish?). As it turned out, I did a marathon PC complete re-build, and had it up and running again in time for the next post.
- I did it
- https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@bitbrain/i-did-it
- Nothing about crypto. Just a note to say that I was back online. In the end it did take a few days to reactivate Windows fully, but it ran from the start.
- Buy this now, thank me later
https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@bitbrain/buy-this-now-thank-me-later
I spotted Crypterium (CRPT) selling for 7572 sats / $0.67 and thought it was a good deal and a way to make fast money due to it listing on HitBTC. I suggested that we look back in a weeks time to see if my tip had been any good. Here is what happened in the week that followed:
From https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/crypterium/Well it did climb, but only for a day or so. Then it took rather a large dip, before going back to what it was before. Not really a great tip. You could have made a modest return if you had sold at the right time, nothing to brag about though.
- Cryptocurrency Spotlight – Envion (EVN)
- I presented Envion as a possible investment. I still think it's a great investment, even if they have been very bad lately with the aspect that I picked out as their biggest weak spot: lack of communication with their investors.
- Crypto Markets March 2018 - up or down? (Part 2)
- An update on the markets. I spoke about how stock markets are tied to crypto and the future of crypto vs stocks. It's still perfectly relevant.
- How to DIVERSIFY your crypto portfolio - Part 1 - Intro
- https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@bitbrain/how-to-diversify-your-crypto-portfolio-part-1-intro
- I gave an introduction to diversifying your crypto portfolio. I'll carry on with this one day.
- Crypto Shopping Cart - 28 March
- https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@bitbrain/crypto-shopping-cart-28-march
- I bought Enjin coin (ENJ) and spoke about it. It's still a great investment. I also touched on Oyster Protocol. It's big news today because of the airdrop of the Shell token to Pearl token holders.
- Bouncing off $274B. Again.
- I was disappointed that the market was dropping again. I predicted some sideways movement, but probably overestimated the duration by a factor of about 5. I did seem to get this right though:
Now, more than ever, I consider the market to be a tightly coiled spring, just waiting to fly upwards (cue the "Lambo", "Moon" posts as new money once again floods the market and the cycle repeats).
- How to say "I was wrong"
- I had been working with total market cap and found that BTC was still more dominant that I thought. I admitted my mistake. Honestly I still think about this daily. I'm not entirely convinced one way or the other. I think that the answer lies somewhere in between. This gem lies in that post:
I'm not going to predict a bounce off the BTC support level (which is around $6300). I'm just going to say that anything can happen in crypto.
But were I to predict a bounce and if I were still bullish, then I would say that that level is the bottom. I would say that after reaching that level it should bounce back hard. I would say that crypto will go on a massive bull run, it's biggest yet. I would predict a huge influx of new money and institutional money. I would predict a very positive 2018 for crypto.
- The NEX lottery
- https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@bitbrain/the-nex-lottery
- I discussed the Neon Exchange coin: NEX. I spoke about the unique NEX ICO that was running in the form of a lottery. This weekend sees the close of round two of that lottery. Good luck all, this is still a fantastic opportunity for those who were lucky enough to get in. An excellent way to run an ICO and an equally excellent product.
- BITCOIN PRICE PREDICTIONS - Chart Display (a three part series)
- This series was possibly the most relevant and important information that I have shared so far. If you're going to read anything by Bit Brain, then read these three posts. Bookmark them, read them years from now. This is good, long-term information!
- Part 1 was based on long-term trendlines. Part 2 was based on market cycles. Part 3 was based on the technology adoption S-curve.
- https://steemit.com/cryptocurrencies/@bitbrain/bitcoin-price-predictions-chart-display-part-2-looking-at-the-past-good-news
- https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@bitbrain/bitcoin-price-predictions-chart-display-part-3-the-s-curve-more-good-news
- Crypto Shopping Cart - 4 April
- https://steemit.com/cryptocurrencies/@bitbrain/crypto-shopping-cart-4-april
- I bought Everex, Merca coin and Envion.
- Who do you trust?
- I spoke about coins and tokens that abuse your trust and how you should not invest in them once trust is broken.
- MONEY - understanding it and cryptocurrencies - Part 1: how fiat works
- https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@bitbrain/money-understanding-it-and-cryptocurrencies-part-1-how-fiat-works
- I started a four part series that deals with fiat currency and crypto currency. How they fit together, where they come from, where they clash etc. Part 1 was about the history of fiat and how the rich abuse their power. I used someone else's (rather good) YouTube video to tell the story.
- MONEY - understanding it and cryptocurrencies - Part 2: Recap of the basics
- https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@bitbrain/money-understanding-it-and-cryptocurrencies-part-2-recap-of-the-basics
- This was a recap of all the important points from the previous day's video, plus a few extra insights.
- I Call your "DEATH CROSS" and I Raise you my "LIFE SUPPORT!" (One-Liner)
- A head on attack against the bears and their theoretical "Death Cross". I introduced my (probably a lot less nonsensical) "Life Support" to counter the "Death Cross".
- MONEY - Understanding it and cryptocurrencies - Part 3: Cryptocurrencies
- https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@bitbrain/money-understanding-it-and-cryptocurrencies-part-4-weapons-of-the-war-on-crypto
- Part three of the money series after a one day hiatus. It looked at the problems of fiat money and whether crypto could solve each problem or not.
- MONEY - Understanding it and cryptocurrencies - Part 4: Weapons of the WAR ON CRYPTO
- https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@bitbrain/money-understanding-it-and-cryptocurrencies-part-4-weapons-of-the-war-on-crypto
- A description of the behind-the-scenes battle being fought by the rich and powerful to try to maintain their wealth and power in a world that is turning away from their fiat money. I would have liked to have dealt with a big weapon of theirs - centralised crypto (like Ripple) - a lot more. I spent quite a while painting crypto emblems on the cannon balls for that post picture. See the effort I put into keeping the fence. Appreciate it! 😜
- Banning crypto - it won't last
- https://steemit.com/cryptocurrencies/@bitbrain/banning-crypto-it-won-t-last
- A post about the futility of countries trying to ban crypto. I discussed how they were only shooting themselves in the feet and how they could not maintain such bans indefinitely.
- I'm REALISTIC about the crypto market. You aren't.
- I attacked you, the reader, because of your unrealistic perceptions of the crypto market. I blamed you for the market crash of early 2018. I'm standing by this one, it's a long, but interesting read (if I do say so myself).
- Index to crypto with Bit Brain
- You're reading it right now - no link necessary.
How am I doing? What did you like, what didn't you like? What would you like to see more of?
Yes I know that my posts should be shorter. I'm working on that (but failing so far).
Hope to see you all around for a long time to come.
Yours in crypto,

Really good post about crypto market analysis. Love e to read till the end. Superb work.
Thanks. Subscribe for much more like that.
I found you by looking over my upvotes on steemd.com. Thanks for upvote and I will be following you. This is a very long article, but the bit I read was very interesting. I'll finish reading later. Just a tip: add pics to your posts it makes it easier to read if that makes sense and maybe add a TLDR summary chapter at the end for pople who are too lazy to read the whole thing.
😂 This whole post IS basically a tldr! I do write long posts (trying to split them up now, not much success yet, but I'll keep trying), but I'm appalled by the lack of attention span of many people these days - I'm catering to those with a genuine interest in the topics, not those who have the attention spans of goldfish.
