There are an increasing number of writing contests here on Steemit and some have excellent prizes that are well worth going after. The problem I was having was finding them in the sea of new posts in the contest tag. You might have been having the same problem.

Now you can simply drop by my blog each day to see what writing contests are going on across Steemit. I really do hope you find it useful.

This is an ongoing post that will be updated each day, with new contests added and expired contests removed. If you’re interested in writing contests, this daily post can be your one-stop-shop to keep updated on what’s new, and what needs to be submitted today.

Deadline: 05:00 GMT/UTC April 1, 2018
Description: There are two categories of writing in this contest. Non-Fiction and Fiction. Both require minimum 1,500 words and maximum 2,500 words. The non-fiction piece can be based on any woman in history. The fiction piece must use the Prompt: "Women leading male dominated industry and government." and the writing work must be in the future, another planet, or an alternate yet futuristic universe.
Prize: First place for the #TeamGirlPowa Women in History Non-Fiction work is 10 STEEM. Second place for the #TeamGirlPowa Women in History Non-Fiction work is 5 STEEM.
