Pepper Display at Smart and Final San Diego California colorchallenge tuesdayorange
I can always find green peppers for sale in my local San Diego Smart and Final, but the colorful ones seem to only appear in Spring. When they do, they are inexpensive and delicious. These orange peppers are mild but have a little bit of a spicy kick.
Part of the trick of eating healthy on a budget it to eat food when it comes into season. The same food at a different time of year will not be as good.
I have been posting colorful food this week. It has mostly been produce I find in my local stores. I try to get a variety of color in my diet for the health reasons, variety, and taste. It makes a big difference in enjoying my food and staying heathly.
