Magnesium Oil Health Benefits My Experience

in #health7 years ago

Two new magnesium oil bottles are on my computer desk and I am happy to have them.

The two magnesium oils came as part of a recent Amazon haul that I got with steemit money. I have been out of a lot of things I get from there, and this is one of the items I really wanted to have.

I first started using magnesium oil when my mom @fitinfun lost weight and got healthy. All of the sudden – everything changed. We never used to have healthy food or anything like that when she was obese and sick all the time. Once she got healthy – we only had healthy things, and this one of the new products that popped up.

My experience with the health benefits of magnesium oil was dramatic. I get a lot of headaches and I don’t like to take pills. My mom was always sick and took a took of them every single day. Her pills were a big part of our life for most of my life, and she “had” to take them. The next batch of them was always sitting out since she hated taking them. We couldn't go places until she took her pills.

Later when she got healthy, all the pills went away and I was thrilled to see that. I was so surprised and happy to see them out of our lives.

So, I don’t like to take pills for headaches or anything else. But my headaches are really bad, and I get them a lot. My mom said to try magnesium oil and I have had shockingly good results since the first time I did. I spray this stuff on my head, rub it in, and almost instantly feel better. For a bad headache, I lie down and try to go to sleep. Usually when I wake up I feel much better.

I also spray this on any injury I get, such as muscle aches or a stiff neck. Magnesium oil provides instant relief for me. My mom also found out you can spray this on your feet at night, put socks on, and this will help you get to sleep. I get insomnia and this idea works great for me so I can sleep more easily. I can only stand to have socks on in the winter but it is better than nothing.

In my next post about magnesium oil I will tell you my research about why it works so well, but this post is just about what it does for me. If you want to check it out yourself, Amazon sells magnesium oil here. There are many vendors, but we like this one since it in fairly inexpensive and comes in a 2-pack. I can have one in my room and one in the bathroom this way. These two bottles are about $20 and will last me for close to one year.

Have you ever used magnesium oil? Tell me your experience. How do you use it and does it help you?

I decided to make a series of posts about what I got in my Amazon Haul and this is the first product. I thought I would be posting the food items first, but this is the one that makes me most happy. I hope you like these posts.

I am so glad you were able to get them!!

Hi Marianne - Fancy meeting you here :)

I will be often. when I checked before, there wasn't much to see 😉

Now, I think, I have new places to visit every time I come 😄

Yup. He just got going and now he likes it! I'm so happy because I get to see photos from trips he took that I was not on :)

I shall look into this. I take Magnesium supplements, and have noticed that I seem to feel more energetic. I am still not sure whether they are beneficial towards relieving my migraines. CBD oil helps me with that.

I kind of find it calming, so it's interesting that you get energy! I'm going to talk about how much we need magnesium and why we don't get enough in my next post.

CBD oil is so expensive! I would use it if I could afford it. My mom used it for her arthritis for a while and liked it a lot. But she's in Thailand now and can't get it.

I like the magnesium spray so I don't have to take a pill. I hope it helps you too. My headaches are bad, but they are not migraines. That's a tough one to beat, but maybe the spray will help. I can feel it work almost instantly.

Thank you so much for the upvote! I really appreciate that :)

I take a magnesium chloride supplement and believe it has helped increase my energy. I have diabetes and this seems to support my insulin response.

You are the second person to talk about energy in my comments. I think it calms me down. Maybe it evens out whatever we have wrong with us.

I'm sorry for your diabetes, but glad this seems to help. It' amazing how much these natural things help us and most people don't even know about them.

Thank you so much for dropping by and letting me know your story. I really appreciate that.

This is a fantastic post. I'm glad you are doing this. I think you have quite a few products you can blog about now. Resteeming and tweeting!

I agree with you @fitinfun!

My mom is a smart lady!

Thanks Mom! It's all because of you :)

Going to have to look into this a little. Never heard of using magnesium oil.

That's great. I hope you will like it. I will soon have a post with more details about why it is good to use. I was shocked by the benefits I felt and I missed it for the last few months.

I will make sure to watch for that post before making any decisions.

Thank you! Coming soon :)

Magnesium oil is a great way to get your magnesium! Thanks for reminding me I need to order more.
Have you tried peppermint oil for your headaches? I bet the combination of the magnesium oil and peppermint oil will give you faster relief. Just rub the peppermint oil on your temples or neck (or the site of your pain - also works great for muscle pain) and your wrists and breathe it in. I use it out straight but it can be a little hot if your skin is sensitive. Start by diluting a couple of drops in a carrier oil (coconut, almond, whatever you have available) and apply to those areas. You can determine what strength works best for you. I've included a link to a brand I like.
Great post! Thanks!

Plant Therapy USDA Certified Organic Peppermint Essential Oil. 100% Pure, Undiluted, Therapeutic Grade. 10 ml (1/3 oz). https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0062C2IKA/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_3lOGAbDJMYYVP

Thank you so much! I have never tried peppermint oil and I will definitely get it on the list to try. I have coconut oil, so I can use that with it. I seem to get muscle aches a lot. I think from tension. I really appreciate this idea.

I'm glad you like my post and thank you for the upvote. One of my friend's mom's name is Tamala. You are only the second person I have run into with that name :)

very informative!! thanks!!

You're welcome - I'm glad you like it!

great post @bxlphabet. my wife has a bottle of this by the bed and another one in the bathroom. she swears by it. I'll check with her and see what she uses it for.

I know she doesn't use it for headaches. I'll pass that info onto our daughter who does. Magnesium oil and or peppermint oil and maybe mixed into a carrier oil. worth a try.

Your wife is like me - I want to always have some at hand. I would be very interested to know what she uses it for since I will be doing a post about the benefits soon. I am for sure going to get some peppermint oil. That is a very intriguing idea.

she magnesium gel to help her sleep and for relaxing or avoiding muscle cramps
