Day 55 /Tag 55
Finally comes my great hour: I have determined to limp the walls and not to paint. For this I got from Altmannstein in the Altmühltal a high-quality marble lime. This lime-laden lime is very appreciated and used among other things by restorers. The application is quite simple: one third lime with 2 thirds of water mix and spread like a cross. The cross-like I had read over and so in the first room despite 5-times strokes still the horizontal line of the first painting is to be seen.
Endlich kommt meine große Stunde: Ich habe mich entschlossen die Wände zu kalken und nicht zu streichen. Dazu habe ich mir aus Altmannstein im Altmühltal einen hochwertigen Marmorsumpfkalk besorgt. Dieser mehrjährig eingesumpfte Kalk wird sehr geschätzt und unter anderem von Restauratoren benutzt. Die Anwendung ist ganz einfach: Ein Drittel Kalk mit 2 Drittel Wasser verquirlen und kreutzartig verstreichen. Das kreutzartige hatte ich überlesen und so ist im ersten Raum trotz 5-maligem Streichen noch immer die horizontale Strichweise des ersten Antriches zu sehen.

I stroke through the whole weekend and make the first painting in some rooms.
Ich streiche das ganze Wochenende hindurch und schaffe den ersten Anstrich in einigen Räumen.
Day 57 /Tag 57
The roof insulation was canceled days ago because of excessive moisture, now the work is resumed and room by room is isolated with the thick rock wool mats.
Die Dachisolierung wurde wegen der zu großen Feuchtigkeit vor Tagen abgebrochen, nun wird die Arbeit wieder aufgenommen und Raum für Raum mit den dicken Steinwollmatten isoliert.
The dry building team immediately begins to work in the isolated rooms. The roof insulation is covered with a steam barrier (blue foil) and fixed with slats.
Das Trockenbauteam beginnt sofort die isolierten Räume weiter zu bearbeiten. Die Dachisolierung wird mit einer Dampfsperre (blaue Folie) abgedeckt und mit Latten fixiert.
Then rigips plates are laid to get a clean ceiling. This work will take a few days and for me it means a break in the liming.
Dann werden Rigipsplatten verlegt um eine saubere Decke zu bekommen. Diese Arbeiten werden sich ein paar Tage hinziehen und für mich bedeutet es eine Pause im Kalken.

Ist deutschland da eigentlich sehr streng mit den Regulierungen des Innenausbaus/der Bausubstanz?
Also mir ist klar das es Regeln gibt, wie etwas gebaut werden darf, aber z.B gabs ja ne Zeit wo sie die Dämmung subventioniert haben, deswegen überlege ich gerade, obs da Regeln gibt oder ob jeder sein Haus bauen darf wie er will
Weil z.B ein Eartship in DE zu bauen is ja auch ein riesiger bürokratischer Akt.
Es gibt nur wenige Gemeinden in denen du so bauen kannst wie du willst. Aber es wird lockerer. Innen kann man machen was man will.
