Tag 9 / Day 9
The foundation is finished, now it goes to the outer walls. I chose the Poroton T8 brick, 36 cm thick, with a populated volcano rock fill. This has proven itself and is provided with the best test results.
Die Teile für die Fensterstürze.
The parts for the window lintels.
A truck with trailer delivers the bricks and everything is packed up to the road.
Der erste Ziegel wird gesetzt!
The first brick is set!
Dann geht es zügig ringsrum.
Then it goes quickly around.
The moisture barrier is applied with tar paper to the first brick layer.
Since the tiles are only glued, the construction progresses quite fast.
Die Aussparung für meine zukünftige Haustüre.
The cut-out for my future doorstep.

@schamangerbert From the outside everything is done quickly, but it's a lot of work.
Yes. It was finished in 2013, so I now report day by day, we will see every step of a modern German house.
I consider your post very useful for beginning builders. For those who want to build a house.
Yes, that is what I also thought. In different parts of the world there are different standards for building a house, so let us see if some other builders come up with other ways of building.
Building a house in different parts of the world has its own nuances, of course, everything depends on culture and climate.
Edit: It was no 100% Power Up Post, by incorrect click. Sorry!
Flagged by smooth with -1 %, that is humanely.
