Tag 11 / Day 11

Der heutige Tag steht ganz im Zeichen der Außenmauern, die bis auf ein kleines Stück fertiggestellt werden. Ich kann erst Mittags zur Baustelle fahren und bin ganz erstaunt wie schnell es jetzt voran geht. Die vordere und hintere Wand stehen schon.

This day is dominated by the exterior walls, which are finished except for a small piece. I can go to the construction site at noon and am amazed at how fast it is now. The front and rear walls are already standing.

Die Westseite wird auch bis zum Abend nicht ganz fertig sein.

The west side will not be ready until the evening.

Die Ostseite ist fast fertig, man erkennt deutlich die Dachform eines Pultdaches. Also nur ein Stockwerk, kein Keller, kein Speicher.

The east side is almost finished, one clearly recognizes the roof shape of a pult roof. So only one floor, no cellar, no memory.

Die Vorderwand ist nur geringfügig höher als der Türsturz, was sich dann doch als etwas kniffelig herausstellt aber gemeistert wird.

The front wall is only slightly higher than the door lintel, which then turns out to be a bit tricky but is mastered.

Die Auflagen für die Tür- und Fensterstürze können nur in abgeänderter Form eingebaut werden.

The supports for the door and window lintels can only be installed in a modified form.

Das verzögert den Bau dann etwas, aber gegen Abend ist auch dieses Problem gelöst und die vordere Wand ist fertig.

This will slow down the construction, but in the evening this problem is also solved and the front wall is finished.
