Today it will be turbulent on the construction site, during the excavation of the soakaway a high voltage cable is bred.
Heute wird es turbulent auf der Baustelle, beim Aushub des Sickerschachtes wird ein Hochspannungskabel angebaggert.
The city power works, the man in the blue suit, are immediately on the spot and repair the cable.
Die Stadtwerke, der Mann im blauen Anzug, sind sofort zur Stelle und reparieren das Kabel.
Since the cable lays in my property, it is excavated and later re-laid outside the property.
Da das Kabel in meinem Grundstück verläuft, wird es ausgegraben und später ausserhalb des Grundstückes neu verlegt.
Luckily, the 20 kV cable was only repelled and not cut, here it is now already released and prepared for the sleeve.
Zum Glück wurde das 20 kV Kabel nur angebaggert und nicht durchtrennt, hier ist es nun schon freigelegt und für die Muffe vorbereitet.
Now the hole is dug out for the soakaway, in the background you can see the joined cable.
Nun ist das Loch für den Sickerschacht ausgebaggert, im Hintergrund sieht man das gemuffte Kabel.
For the duration of the repair the electricity for 3 houses had to be switched off completely, the other houses were supplied with an emergency power gag.
Für die Dauer der Reparatur musste der Strom für 3 Häuser komplett abgeschaltet werden, die anderen Häuser wurden mit einem Notstromaggreat versorgt.
In the evening the soakaway was then built, the cable was temporarily laid outside my property, and all the excitement was forgotten.
Am Abend war dann der Sickerschacht eingebaut, das Kabel ausserhalb des Grudstückes provisorisch verlegt, und alle Aufregung vergessen.

Is the 20kV cable the blue one in the picture? It is not the one that was broken? I can imagine the sparks flying if the 20kV was cut!!
After the excavator hit the cable it was detected, luckily it was not cut! Then the worker called the emergency team from the city works and they shut down the power for the time the cable was fixed.
If the cable was cut by the excavator then the automatic shut down of power will have shut down the power for a lot of houses. (picture 5 shows the cable)

Mit großem Interesse verfolge ich deine Ausdauer, Aktivität und Gelassenheit. Meine Anerkennung! In meinem meiner nächsten Beiträge lege ich dir ein paar Fotos von Häusern aus meiner direkten Nachbarschaft bei. Danach weißt du, wo du weitermachen kannst, wenn vor deiner Haustür die letzte Rüttelmaschine abgezogen ist. Weiterhin viel Erfolg und möglichst keine Rückschläge.
Ha ha ha ! Das Haus ist schon 2013 gebaut worden und ich bin inzwischen ein Haustier geworden, meine Blumenwiese und die Jurte treibt mich ab und zu nach draussen, sonst kommt man ja mit Steemit zu nichts mehr :)
