The Reports from the Witnesses 2018-03-11
The Reports from the Witnesses aims to provide the community with a summary of what all the witnesses have been up to. Every week, I collect all of the reports from the individual witnesses and assemble them into a single aggregated report. New witness announcements and witness retirement announcements are included in the report as well.
Witnesses can continue posting their posts to the witness-category and/or witness-update tags, and I will assemble everything I find there. If I miss any reports, just let me know and I will correct it. If you want to direct message me a report via chat, that is fine too.

Some Notes:
- Many witnesses do not report every week, and prefer to only report when they have updates.
- I recommend that you include communication as one of your criteria for evaluating witnesses, but keep in mind - it is not the only criteria. There are some witnesses that prefer to work "behind the scenes", and do not do much as far as reports.
- For witnesses that are not currently posting any reports, I would encourage you to provide the community with at least some insight into what you are currently working on :)

It is cool what you do. We really do appreciate the fact that you take the time out to update us on what the witnesses are doing. We really do appreciate this. Communication they say is key and the only way we can come to a better understanding is if we get to know what dthosebwho are in charge are doing for the sustainability of the platform
Hey Tim, sad to see some witness go. With their departure, I started to wonder about the need of supporting the platform. Do you think that steemit needs more witnesses?
Also, if you had to choose between learning to sing or dance which one would you choose? Keep in mind, if you choose singing, you will forever sing your speech. If you choose dance, you will have to perform on stage to millions of people every week. Choose wisely...
I think some cycling is good. Even though 2 left, four new ones joined.
Regarding the number of witnesses, I don’t think we have a shortage, but we don’t have enough “good” witnesses IMO. A good witness is someone who is adding significant value to the platform and stakeholders through their witness campaign.
I would rather learn to sing.
This is the best way for me to start my Monday morning. I always look forward to these updates because it keeps me abreast about the helm of affairs especially about my favourite witnesses. I can't fail to applaud your consistent effort to collate these reports @timcliff . Your hard work is second to none. All I can do is encourage you to continue in this good works because it is of immense importance to people like me.
