The Help My Dog (Floppy) Challenge: Day 38 - $117.54 of $5,060.00 - Please Upvote / Resteem / Donate Directly!!!!!!

Hey Everyone,
My dog Floppy had successful back surgery on Friday 12/22/17. He is in recovery and he is going to be ok, we got great news from the doctor on 1/31/18 during his most recent visit to his vet!!!

Unfortunately, these unexpected expenses have hit my family very hard and I am turning to the Steemit community in an effort to raise funds to pay for Flop's surgery. Every Upvote, Follow, Comment, and Resteem will help me out, and any straight donations would be straight up awesome!!! All of your kind words & support have been amazing so far and as you can see, it is growing by the day, so thank you so much!

Below is the picture of Floppy when he just got out of surgery and the blog started, and the pic that usually appears in the feed each day when his scar was the newest. Below that are pictures of Floppy's scar from 1/20/18 & 2/1/18... it's healing so well!!!!

...Amazing, right?!?!?! The Doctors really did a sensational job! Still no hair growth yet but I imagine in time.

DAY 37 UPDATE

I hope you all enjoyed your super bowl Sunday!!!

The morning was great, Lucas slept until 7:30, which is really late for him. So I got to "sleep in" for a bit! With that said, Floppy was really excited to see us when we came down in the morning because it was a bit later than normal, and he was also ready to get outside and start his day!

After his walk I got Luey set up for breakfast, and despite wanting to sit in front of Lu and beg for his food, I was able to get him up on the couch for some cuddle and play time! He still did not want to go up his ramp yet but hopefully soon!

Floppy loves to give kisses, even though it's difficult to capture pictures of them!

Vanessa woke up around 930AM and finished her workout and shower and we ran to Target to get ready for the game. After we got back we just chilled in the house for awhile until our friends showed up to watch the game.

Lucas had been laying down on his little Mickey mouse couch and Floppy took over it for a bit. I tried to get them to share it together but it wasnt happening lol!

Flop needed to get walked around 430PM but it was raining so I just let him out real quick. Usually he just goes right away outside our house when its raining and he's not leashed, but today he decided to venture over to the neighbors area.

The game was great. Floppy enjoyed seeing friends he doesn't see too often. And he got to eat a lot of food.

He also seemed to enjoy Justin's halftime show lol, he barked a few times, but I think that's because my wife and her friend were dancing and singing. Our friends left around 930 before the end of the game. I took FLop for a walk before I went up stairs and then he went to bed in the kitchen. It was a long weekend and he seemed ready for bed! He is acting and feeling very healthy!!! Weekdays he's a bit more by himself as you know because Vanessa and I both work, but I'll look forward to telling you about Flop's Monday!

Perhaps it was church? I don't know, but my posts did not get much interest this morning. I hope that is not a sign of things to come but I definitely won't be deterred.
