The Help My Dog (Floppy) Challenge: Day 25 - $58.59 of $5,000.00 - Please Resteem / Upvote / Donate Directly!!!!!!

Hey Everyone,
My dog Floppy had successful back surgery on Friday 12/22/17. He is in recovery and should be ok!!!

Unfortunately, this unexpected expense has hit my family hard and I am turning to the Steemit in an attempt to raise funds to pay for this surgery. Every Upvote, Comment, and Resteem will help me out, and any straight donations would be straight up wonderful!

Here is the picture of Floppy when he just got out of surgery and the blog started, and the pic that usually appears in the feed each day when his scar was the newest. Below it is a picture of Floppy's scar from 1/20/18, it's healing so well!!!!

DAY 24 UPDATE

Flop started off his day with, you guessed it, his morning walk. Thankfully, Florida weather has returned to normal and it hasn't been cold out the past few days. I can't wait until the clocks change again and its a bit lighter out for these walks, I like that much better. But I will admit, some of the pics in the dark with the flash have been cool. It was a nice walk and Floppers had a bunch of energy!

... once again, he was in his cage for the day because it was a weekday/workday. I feel very bad that he is crated during the day, but I know it's best for him. Eventually, we'll probably move him out of the crate into a space where he can't jump anywhere, but has a bit more room to roam around.

We all got home around 5:45 so we did a family walk together.

I was finishing up a cigarette after the walk and told Lucas to let Floppy inside. I did my best to take some action shots LOL

Vanessa made Chicken Alfredo for dinner. Since it's not one of my favorite dishes, Floppy usually ends up with a bunch of extra chicken from my plate. He was a happy camper!!! We hung out for about 20 minutes downstairs before we had to start getting Luey ready for bed so I was playing Tug with Flop for a bit...I forgot to get a pic, sorry!

After that, I threw a couple of treats inside of his cage and settled him in for the evening and Vanessa and Luey and I went upstairs for the evening. For some reason, he just started barking like a crazy while I was writing the blog, I think he heard another dog outside.

Flop's energy is great! His demeanor is great! His appetite is great! Everything is going well all things considered!!!
