The Help My Dog (Floppy) Challenge: Day 29 - $79.28 of $5,000.00 - Please Resteem / Upvote / Donate Directly!!!!!!
Hey Everyone,
My dog Floppy had successful back surgery on Friday 12/22/17. He is in recovery and should be ok!!!
Unfortunately, this unexpected expense has hit my family hard and I am turning to the Steemit in an attempt to raise funds to pay for this surgery. Every Upvote, Comment, and Resteem will help me out, and any straight donations would be straight up wonderful!

DAY 28 UPDATE
Happy Friday everyone, I hope you all have great things planned for this weekend! We will be attending a chili cook off tomorrow; I'm not sure if Flop is coming out with us or not, but it should be a good time!
It looked like FLop slept very comfortably, I am extremly happy that I made the decision to move him out of his cage, I feel like he is a lot happier! Rise and shine little guy!
He had a pretty routine day today. He had a great walk this morning, I can definitely tell his gaining more energy each day, the pep in his step continues to grow with each day. Vanessa took Luey to school today, so we got to start our walk a little bit later than normal. I always enjoy morning walks more when it isn't so dark, don't ask me why, it's just so much more enjoyable.
Floppy loves to sniff the grass during his walks, especially trying to pick up the scent of the other neighborhood dogs.
We got back into the house, Flop had his treat, and of course rushed off to the kitchen table to see what he could grab from Luey from his breakfast.
After a couple of minutes, Luey was done and he & Vanessa were off to day care. I was able to brush Floppy's back and his ears. He hasn't been to the groomer since his surgery. He needs to go soon, we just want to make sure he has enough energy to be able to sit through it. And also that the groomer is comfortable as his scar isn't fully healed yet.
He was in the kitchen until the afternoon and then when we got home I walked him quickly because Vanessa and I were going out for dinner. After the walk, I was finishing up a smoke and Flop was exploring our alley and started barking at a dog he heard that was walking down the street like a crazy man!!!
I was a bit concerned because he didnt take his afternoon poop so I was hoping he wouldnt go in the kitchen. Thankfully he didn't - and I took him for a 3rd walk around 930. He took care of his business this time around, got his evening treat (he always gets a treat after a walk) and we put him down for the evening. We weren't able to spend too much time with him today, but the weeknd are always a great opportunity to give him a bit more attention!
His next doctors appointment is in 6 days.
