Hey Everyone,
My dog Floppy had successful back surgery on Friday 12/22/17. He is in recovery and should be ok!!!
Unfortunately, this unexpected expense has hit my family hard and I am turning to the Steemit in an attempt to raise funds to pay for this surgery.
Every upvote, comment, and share will help me out, and any straight donations would be wonderful!
I really want to apologize, I haven't been posting as many pictures as I should be. Here are a few updates, look at how great his scar is healing!
DAY 12 UPDATE
Floppy had a good day today. We ran out of Beggin Strips and Pupparoni, so we need to go to Publix tomorrow for sure. But he still has his biscuits...not really his favorite, but this dog can eat like no other:
He was in the crate from 8am - 530ishpm, but he's actually been out of the cage since, his longest since surgery! He's sitting with Vanessa on the couch right now. We still are not letting him jump at all, so we need to be extra careful with him when he's on the couch. He also chewed up one of his toys today as well, something he hadn't done since before the surgery. Things are looking good!!! :)
We are taking a small weekend getaway to Tampa and are bringing Floppy with us (in the crate of course) because we don't really trust any of our friends locally to be able to take care of him. Not that we dont trust them, per se, but it's alot to ask of friends/family, and also everyone we could leave him with here in Orlando also has a dog...way too many potential risks! So tomorrow's update will be from our hotel in Tampa with Floppy there as well!
