The Help My Dog (Floppy) Challenge: Day 24 - $56.91 of $5,000.00 - Please Resteem / Upvote / Donate Directly!!!!!!
Hey Everyone,
My dog Floppy had successful back surgery on Friday 12/22/17. He is in recovery and should be ok!!!
Unfortunately, this unexpected expense has hit my family hard and I am turning to the Steemit in an attempt to raise funds to pay for this surgery. Every Upvote, Comment, and Resteem will help me out, and any straight donations would be straight up wonderful!
Here is the picture of Floppy when he just got out of surgery and the blog started, and the pic that usually appears in the feed each day when his scar was the newest. Below it is a picture of Floppy's scar from yesterday, it's healing so well!!!!

DAY 22 UPDATE
Today was a pretty uneventful day for Floppy for the most part. As usual, and I hope this isn't getting boring, Flop started off the day with his walk. When we got back in, he went straight to his bowls for some food and water. After he filled himself up, he went to the carpet for a good stretch and he also rolled around to itch his back which he tends to do often.
Flop was out of the cage for a good deal of the day because we were home for most of the day.
The only bad thing that happened today was that Flop went upstairs by himself for the first time since surgery and he's not supposed to really. I was outside having a cigarette, Vanessa had just woken up, and Luey went upstairs to go say hi to her. He forgot to put he gate up behind him and this allowed Flop to get upstairs. Thankfully, he doesn't seem to be showing any negative side effects, which is really great news, he's getting stronger. Still, we're not trying to take any risks whatsoever.
Flop got a TON of attention and love and food today, so he seemed to be happy and in a really good mood!
He watched the Jags-Patriots game with us on the couch and was not happy the Pats won!!! He's a Chicago Bears fan, Bear down!
We went out for dinner, so we put Flop in his cage from 6-730PM. After we got back from dinner, Vanessa took Floppy for a walk with Lucas and I cleaned up the house a bit. He got his evening treat, and then he called it a day!
