One photo every day: Building the tree (176/365)
Building the tree
Camera body: Canon EOS 550D
Lens: EF-S18-55mm ƒ/3.5-5.6 III
Focal length: 18mm
Aperture: ƒ/3.5
Exposure: 1/60 s
ISO: Dual-ISO 200+400
Had to crop this image from a landscape photo, it was the only one where both of their faces were visible.
Other than that, it's a nice image.
Had a busy day today, cleaning up the place and building the tree and everything. I'll be posting some additional photos soon. :)
Too bad the tree is a fake. I'm thinking that next year we'll have a real one...

Very nice and peaceful photo. The children are so serene and gentle and attentive to the tree.
A natural photo of inner beauty!
How you could capture things at the right moment all the time? Magic?!
Cheers.
Thanks!
Multiple tries and patience. Oh, and then cropping as the only photo that was any good was zoomed out in landscape mode.
Thank you very much, my mentor! I just bought my first smart phone three weeks ago. I am learning to use it. The first two weeks I put my finger on the lens ruining all my photos!
Your advice gives me lots of encouragement for improving my photography.
Thank you very much for your generosity!
You have a wonderful heart!
Cheers.
making a christmas tree should be something which makes you happy.unfortunately i have not made a Christmas tree to gain that feeling..it is something which brings your family together..its nice to see the smiles on their faces.. :) nice one..if you can sir please upload a photo when you are done with the decoration
looks like they are having fun.
:D
hey man, good to see you at 52. I am sure, you have settled your scores. :)
Thank you, hopefully its all done with.
:D
Still live a steemit life of constant paranoia and fear but hopefully time will calm that down.
lol
Be good.
I try.
:D
A beautiful Christmas tree, I also prefer white, it resembles a fairy tale.
Well, a real one has its downsides.
By the way, does Miro believe in Father Christmas?
And a fake one has a lot of upsides! I just tried to convince a friend of mine who has just moved to Germany and doesn't have a car that she should buy a fake one:
I suggest that when the time comes your friend take the tree to her backyard or her balcony, chop it up into small pieces and dispose of it in the biowaste bin or the general waste bin if there is no bin for biowaste. If she has a bin of her own none of this should be a problem. If she has to use a bin common to her building, she can put the remnants of the tree into durable bags and take them out at night and empty the bags into the bins. If she suspects that this would likely cause her trouble, she can put the remains of the tree in bags and take several trips to a forest somewhere and dump them there.
There is a forest nearby! It's probably more convenient than the recycle center. There is only a recycling bin for paper. Everything else must be taken to the recycle center. Recycling must be done there but in the suburban area where she lives they don't make it easy!
I appreciate your experience writing
For the time being, yes. ;)
If you mean the mess from tree, I think the plastic glitter is worse.
Miro's faith in FC is good to keep in mind next Wednesday if he shows up downstairs.
I suppose it is as the plastic stuff is lighter and capable of ending up in more places where it does not belong and may be hard to get out of.
This really looks great. Especially the all white colour.
It seems they are enjoying this activity, may this Christmas brings good things in their life.
wow i can't wait to see the full decoration of the tree :D great shot
@gamer00,
They are preparing for X'mas! Seems they enjoy what they do! Great photography friend!
Cheers~
