As Lisa and Selene entered Lisa's apartment, Selene had a sudden thought. "What did you say about mosquitoes?" she queried. "It's too early in the year for mosquitoes, isn't it?" "Well, I have a few itchy spots, and I assumed it was from mosquitoes," Lisa explained. "In fact, now I itch all over. Turn the light on, would you?" Selene flipped the light switch and gasped. "Lisa! Look at your arms! And your face! You've broken out in hives or something!" Lisa ran to the bathroom to look in the mirror. "Oh no! It looks like an allergy or something! What do you suppose is wrong?" Selene grabbed her phone and did a quick search for nicotine allergies. "I bet it was the cigarette!" she shouted. You're allergic to nicotine! Quick, do you have any allergy medicine?" Lisa dashed into the kitchen and reached into her medicine cupboard. Yes, she had allergy medicine! "How many should I take?" she asked anxiously. "If I take two, I'll probably fall asleep before midnight!" "Take two anyway, and hope for the best," suggested Selene. "You look awful, and the itching must be driving you crazy!"

Swallowing the small tablets, Lisa sighed. "Oh, this is so much more trouble than I thought it would be! What time is it, anyway?" "It's 10:00," replied Selene. "Only two hours to go! Where are your core values? Your integrity, diligence, and perseverance? Hang in there, you can do this!"
