There are an increasing number of writing contests here on Steemit – in fact today’s list is the largest yet since I began the Writing Contest List - and some have excellent prizes that are well worth going after. The problem I was having was finding them in the sea of new posts in the contest tag. You might have been having the same problem.
Now you can simply drop by my blog each day to see what writing contests are going on across Steemit. I really do hope you find it useful.
This is an ongoing post that will be updated each day, with new contests added and expired contests removed. If you’re interested in writing contests, this daily post can be your one-stop-shop to keep updated on what’s new, and what needs to be submitted today.

The prompt with the most votes will be his story inspiration! He will write a story, from scratch, of at least 500 words, and base it on the prompt! Then he’ll choose one lucky person who chose the winning prompt as the winner of the contest and they get 25% of the SBD from the story post. He’s had stories pay out over 700 SBD in the past! He plans on doing this every day until he reaches 5,000 followers, so it could go on for several weeks. Here’s the “contest”
