Rising and falling like the tide - Another gem of downtempo and psychedelic chillout that I really dig, Organic Patterns' The Search is a mighty and deep trip into the heart, into concrete figments of the imagination and into realms reminiscent of a sea of impulses for the conscious listener fond of musicality and vast soundscapes.

An album that is steady in beat, strong in color and wonderfully musical. Arpeggis, morphing pads and resonance-travels through the audible frequency spectrum make it somewhat of a rarity among the chillout genres; the way it is all coming together. It's moving somewhere yet retains its wonderfully open vibe throughout! This record is sure to move chillout floors all over the Earth and may even enchant a new generation of listeners keen on fresh trips into non-physical realms.

Here's someone who has purpose and direction in their music which becomes more and more apparent as the album progresses. It's not so much reinventing the wheel as it is enriching the profound records of this genre that are already out there, excelling at fusing abtstract sonics into a defined experience that propels the inner vision of those tuning in.

A mighty record for taking an hour-long meditation or to just get lost in after too much input on the worldly plane - The Search is no only that but a find, in fact. A discovery of large resonances inside those who come into contact with it. I find it especially valuable during the dark winter months we are finding ourselves in the middle of - sound just has this way (if properly used) to make awareness pierce through thick layers of mental and celestial fog that tend to gnaw at us a whole lot. Sonic healing right?
