Piper's Picket Fence Quilt - Make It Monday by A Panama Mama
I love this pattern and think it looks adorable in pink...especially made for my sweet niece who was born two years ago. I know that it is a special quilt for her and will be for many years! I love all of the pinks and other colors that match well. One of my favorite things is that it contains fabrics from some of my other quilts - Nana's quilt, her sisters' quilts, my favorite purple quilt.
This quilt pattern is actually called Piper's Picket Fence and it worked out perfectly since my niece's name is Piper! I chose to do all over free motion quilting on this one as well. I think it turned out really well and I plan to use this pattern again since it is so cute!
Most people comment that they love the backs of the quilts. I have to agree on this one. I think it is pretty adorable and love how it turned out.
This is the last of the quilts I've made before (that I have previously posted on my Facebook account). I have some other projects that I've worked on before that I plan to share as well as starting new projects. Yea for carving out some crafting time in the future - a necessity!

#NeedleworkMonday by @crosheille
Edit: I just found out this is my 200th Steemit post! Wahoo!! :)
It is so pretty in pink. I know your niece will love it. 🐓🐓
This is soooo cute!!
That is so perfect for a little girl! I bet she is the envy of all her friends..😉
aw I love this one!! The colours work beautifully with each other. Every Tuesday as I scroll down in the Steem Engine post channel I see another one of these and marvel at your ability to make them so damn quickly. You're a machine of an artist!!
:) Thanks! I definitely don't make them quickly anymore. This is...8 years worth of quilts. I haven't made a quilt in about 2 years, but I do have some tops ready to get quilted! Just need to find the time! :)
ah! Well then you are human after all ;)
Regardless, that's still an impressive collection of handmade items. I hope you do manage to find some more time for new ones!
Simply a-ma-zing !!! Love it !!!
Your quilt is delightful @apanamamamma! It makes me want to snuggle up in it and read a book. LOL! You have some very lucky relatives! Happy #NeedleworkMonday to you, my dear!
Thanks! Yes, I wish someone would make ME a quilt. ;) Ha!
You already have inspired me... to pick up sewing (ok just simple skirts, but who knows, maybe I try sometimes quilting)
I love the soft pastel shades of your Quilt 💕
Nice! You can do it! :) It's a lot of fun!
You are a busy lady 😎 How has the summer been? I just got back from over a month of no screens at a rainbow Gathering in Torio and found a sailboat captains job while there. Woot!
Life is Good, We are going to spand Semana Santa with Family then its off to sea for me. I'm always at my best on the ocean, can't wait to get started.
Cheers
Nice! Sounds like you've got a great job lined up! Things have been windy here and warm. :) We are enjoying it though. I'm sure all this brown will soon turn green when the rains start back up! We have family coming in this week so we'll be doing all kinds of touristy fun. :) Have fun on the boat!
I wish some family would come visit me, we have only had 1 Canadian visitor so far. A lady we rented from while in Canada and became good friends, but she is retired. All the rest are working and " have no time & no money? " That's about life in Canada any more for the vast majority.
I'm suprised it's brown in your area! We are in a scorched earth mode in Ocu. LOL
Maybe I'll do a summer/winter contrast post today?
Cheers
This is beautiful! I love the back as well as the front of it, let's say both sides are equally nice! I like how the quilt is made out of different parts of the family's own quilt. Such a nice thing to pass on and it keeps the heart warm too, @apanamamama! <3
:) Thank you! I'm glad you like it. It is a pretty quilt. :) One of my favorite girlie ones.
I really like this one too! I always love what you do to the backs of them!! So neat how you found a quilt that was your niece’s name! I’m looking forward to seeing your other projects as well as new ones to come!! 😃
Thank you! Yeah, it is pretty cool that the name of the recipient and pattern were the same. It's not a "normal" picket fence pattern, but I like this one better. :)
