It is a pleasure to have you on board the Poetry Dice Challenge! You have done so much already to help the "One Human Basket" poetry curation initiative, and for that you are much appreciated. I am glad to announce that Ren will be receiving half the payout for each week's challenge for her assistance with marketing and promotion, as well as her detailed and helpful reviews and feedback on the contestant's entries. Poetry Dice Entry: For the Love of Our Mom!
"The Mother stood shaking
From North to South Pole
She asked herself why
Destruction was their goal.

She’d given them life, she’d brought them to be
She even gave them her own body
The flowers and fruits she tirelessly bore
As well as Chances… Chances to be more..."

Poetry Dice Entry Week 11 #1 - I Gave My Heart To The Moon
"I hold deep within me a celestial void
This heart of mine no longer coiled
‘cause I gave my heart onto the moon;
Who rose to late and set too soon
I bet he was mine forever and a day
But with my heart, he gambled away..."

  • From the very first line I cried. This one @breezin is bursting with emotion. The lines became blurred for me. At one point I was reading your poem and in an instance I was back in those space where lovers hurt me and my longing for love was lost...and suddenly I was back in the flow of your words again...It takes a skill coupled with being impacted by life experience to be able to touch the spirit and dance with the soul of a reader or your audience. And this you do masterfully. BRAVO!!! - @rensoul17
  • I love the way you pull at heartstrings and surround the reader in imagery of the classic garden. Truly a magnificent setting for a tragic romance (my fav). - @robyneggs

Owed To Issa (A Haiku Decagon)
"Advisor (Magnet)
My advice to you
is try to be aloof, as
he is. Attract him.

Mantra (Question)
I shall clear my head
and derive a solution;
resolve this ordeal..."

  • The building of layers upon layers as you unfolded a collage of images, snapshots of life and the puzzle pieces thereof that fit together each lifepiece being reflections and mirror images of the other. A magnificent steppingstone Ode in a Haiku dimension of space and time that has me bowing before you. @jonknight. It was an honor to experience this expression of art in rare form. - @rensoul17
  • Wow that is a fantastic piece of work @jonknight. This is a great haiku tribute to Issa! - @g-force1980
  • I love this! So many favorites here for me: Kalyndra, Solitude and Lindsey Street-brings back memories of hot summer nights in the city, windows open, strands of music in the air and tom cats on the prowl... Yep, great job, Jon! - @trishlarimer
  • Each stanza of Haiku is truly a masterful ode to the man of the hour - Issa. Excellent job on this week's entry @jonknight. You deserve all the kudos for making such a tribute. Bonus points are well earned. You made an amazing tribute to not one, but many great icons and popular symbols of past and present. Thanks for going all the way this week! Cheers~ - @robyneggs

Oh wow, thank you for the wonderful reviews!! :')

This is wonderful news. Well done!

Thank you @robyneggs for choosing a theme that brought this forth. Issa is a hero of mine, and I wanted to present a work he'd have appreciated.

There were so many great poems this week and that is an even greater honor - to find I am in such company humbles me.
