100 Days of Poetry Challenge [Day 17]: DREAMS
Poetry for me is an art of heart where you are letting the emotions flow on every words you use. It is a door to other dimension, as you can take your readers to a place you want them to be and let them feel the power of your craft.

DREAMS
In the eyes of a child,
Having favorite remote control car
Wearing that fancy dress and act as a princess
Going to Disneyland and just roam around
In the eyes of a youth,
Be a Doctor and make my parents proud
An Engineer, Accountant or Nurse
Artist and just follow my heart
In the eyes of young adult,
To work in that company and have stable job
Marry the love of my life
Buy new gadgets, follow the trend
In the eyes of a couple,
Having a child that will complete our life
Provide what is best for our children
Buy a car, travel the world
In the eyes of retired ones,
Weekend visit of our children
Spend time with our grandchild
Family get together fills our heart
Has nothing to do with the age
Or status of someone's life
Aspirations continue and no matter what
WE DREAM BIG!

I like they way each stanza effortlessly rolls into the next. A reflection of the unstoppable march of time, the way our lives get away from us without our permission, and all the while we hold on to those same dreams. Your commitment is commendable - best of luck with the rest of the 100 day challenge.

Yeah and now that days are passing very fast... sometimes its hard to cope up! And no mattwr how we get old, we never ran out of dreams!!
