With Louis Sclavis we explore today a completely different style of jazz, which is characterized by a mixture of art music and folk music, mixed with classical aspects of chamber music, always in search of new sounds and connections.

Many of his pieces immerse the listener in a variety of emotions, but after a short time they overplay themselves and find themselves in fractions of seconds in completely different worlds. His live concerts, which he gives in large numbers on a regular basis, make him one of the most active French jazz musicians. I wish you a pleasant time with his music!

Mit Louis Sclavis erkunden wir heute einen völlig anderen Stil des Jazz, der geprägt ist von einer Mischung aus Kunstmusik und Volksmusik, vermischt mit klassischen Aspekten der Kammermusik, immer auf der Suche nach neuen Klängen und Verbindungen.

Viele seiner Stücke lassen den Hörer eintauchen in diverse Emotionen, die aber schon nach kurzer Zeit sich selbst überspielen und sich in Bruchteilen von Sekunden in völlig anderen Welten wiederfinden. Ein großer Spaß sind seine Live Konzerte, die er in großer Anzahl regelmäßig gibt und damit zu den aktivsten französichen Jazzmusikern zählt. Ich wünsche eine angenehme Zeit mit seiner Musik!
