Jockey Street - Pencil on paper - 4.5 x 8 inches.
It wasn't a street as much as a road in a rural part of upstate New York. The area was close to Saratoga Springs and the famous racetrack, which why, I suppose, it was called "Jockey Street."
At any rate, when I made this drawing years ago, I wasn't thinking of streets or racetracks, only how to make a believable image of a rundown barn, high grass, a house and a few trees. Students often ask about the keys to good drawing. My advice is: don't draw trees, barns, high grass and houses. Draw shapes and pay attention to their dark/light values. Nature presents us with innumerable values, but five -- the lightest, the darkest and three in-between -- will usually suffice for a decent drawing.
On the other hand, if you want to draw more of those innumerable values, why not? The only obstacle is the limit of your patience.

I like the idea of the pencil drawing, it is despite of monochrome is still full of different values, like dark houses, the trunks of trees and more lighter grass and leaves colours.
Beautiful sketch, monochromatic theme suits it very well.
Thank you, vickyspartan. I'm glad you liked the image and took the time to reply.
Oh, and good luck with your game designs!
Thanks man, but I'm having a hard time making arts for game tho.
Don't lose faith in yourself! Keep on drawing. Dark times are normal for artists. Eventually you'll work your way out into light.
😥 thanks man.
