Since no-one wants to be overpowered and made into a slave, every step of a plan to dominate other people needs to be as secret as possible. However, it also needs participants, so they need to be misled into thinking that they are benefiting from the plan, while in reality even they are being enslaved too.
Since all humans innately have free will and thus on this free will planet are automatically enabled to live without being overpowered - it is necessary for them to believe the opposite.

That's not a message from a possible future, but right now from someone speaking about the state of plastic pollution on our planet. Does that seem alarming? It does to me.
A young Cuvier's beaked whale washed up on the shores two hours from the Philippine city of Davao. It was weak and vomiting blood. Darrell Blatchley from the Philippines' Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources received a call early Friday morning to go see the whale.
A few hours later, it was dead. Why did it suddenly die? Plastic. A shitload of plastic.
"It was full of plastic — nothing but nonstop plastic. It was compact to the point that its stomach was literally as hard as a baseball."
"That means that this animal has been suffering not for days or
weeks but for months or even a year or more."

Many Starting To See Greater Potential

It is wonderful to see what is taking place in the last couple of months. In spite of the bear still being in charge, the sentiment around the world of cryptocurrency appears to be changing. I see this both here on Steem and also around the web.
Personally, I believe many are starting to see greater potential and what this industry can truly do. It is easy to fall prey to market fluctuations while believing that is an indication of what is really taking place.
For the past year, I was beating the drum of "its the development, dummy". At this point, all else is simply noise. The only thing that matters is the development. We are at the point we are in need of a foundation. This process will unfold layer by layer.

My Experience of the Intense Healing Power in SE Portland's Botanical Gardens for the Spring Equinox

Blessed Spring Equinox & Supermoon! I started this day feeling like complete garbage, and ended it with the love and understanding I was hoping for. Leach Botanical Gardens of Portland, Oregon is in the running for the calmest and most healing place I have ever been. I was able to release some deep rooted emotions in this forest, and since I was open and receptive to it's healing energy, I definitely felt much better by the time I left compared to when I arrived.
The way the water moved felt like it's rhythms and vibrations were designed specifically for me - to let me know everything will be ok. I felt the Earth respond to me in a way I never have, feeling that IT felt the positivity I have been giving to it throughout my lifetime, and actually gave me some of that much needed attention back directly.

I hope that everyone is well and enjoying a good week? Firstly, apologies for missing #musicmonday. I was working away for a couple of days, returned home early (to an empty house) to find my wife had baked some lovely biscuits (which I duly ate) only to later discover they were made from duck eggs (which I'm allergic to) and was subsequently very ill! Aside from that, I wanted to have a little catch-up and assure people that I am still about and offer a heartfelt thank you to all that support and read my posts.
I've been really busy with work, renovations and writing my book, so haven't been around as much as I'd like. Alongside my book, I was planning to write some shorter posts but recent events have prompted me to (temporarily) put the book to one side and write a big new article.

What the world needs now more than ever ...

I've been doing a lot of reading in regards to the Christchurch NZ shooting, Nigerian Christians being wiped out, Congo violence, issues in Venezuela, Central America and essentially all over the world. I've been contacted by @cecicastor numerous times about what is happening in Nicaragua as well, as she gives me her personal account of what is going on in that country.
It is important to recognize and acknowledge that most of this violence absolutely depends on us all reacting to it and choosing to engage with violence. Most of what we see in the world is orchestrated by groups who want to incite a violent response to their violence and we must resist this urge.

As we see in ecology, there are also “necessary edges.” The “edge effect” in ecology occurs at the border where two ecosystems … meet. At that interface, where there is the least density and the greatest diversity of life forms, each living thing can draw from the core of the two ecosystems. That is where new life forms emerge… Sometimes the most interesting things happen at the edge. The intersections there can reveal unexpected connections.

Whilst nature is always a big part of my life, as you can see with me contemplatively hanging out with the trees in tree post above, on International Forest Day this year I'm contemplating five facts:
Deforestation is still a massive concern and Australia in particular is a deforestation hotspot alongside Borneo and the Amazon. In Australia, clearing is largely for agricultural expansion.
Land clearing has a huge impact on animal species.
Forests are critical in the fight against global warming.
Forests have a huge impact on our mental health.
Reforestation is necessary and possible.

Lexicon of spirit animals: spider

There are roughly 30,000 spider species, of which most live in more tropical regions. Whether in forests and mountain regions or swamps, meadows and urban areas: the spider is a very diverse animal. They always have eight legs and all species make use of their venom to paralyse their prey, yet not all spiders' venom is dangerous for humans. The tarantula's or black widow spider's venom, for example, can "merely" cause nausea or fainting but not death. Spiders are very solitary animals that only come together for mating. Female spiders grow bigger and older than males, while especially the latter doesn't come as a surprise: after all the female usually devours the male after the mating process.

The non-profit Environmental Working Group recently conducted their Dirty Dozen annual report, investigating whether or not they might find pesticide residue on a myriad of produce samples. They look at thousands of samples, more than 40k or more, testing things such as strawberries, spinach, kale, and other items.
Their most recent report has discovered that a great deal of conventionally-grown produce has pesticide residue to be found.
The items which were found to have the most were items such as kale and strawberries. For example, over 90 percent of the kale samples had contained at least 2 pesticides or more.

These last weeks, forests in Asia have brought me close to tears. Many times.
Beyond the big cities of Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, much of North Thailand is a delicate dance between natural forest, small scale farming, indigenous minority people (who are largely stateless) with some nominal delegated land usage rights, and the ever-growing presence of Big Corporate Farming trying to gain a profitable foothold in this pristine paradise, where natural resources are abundant and labour is still dirt cheap.

On September 11th 1973, democratically elected president of Chile lost his life in a military coup that brought army general, and soon to be dictator, Augusto Pinochet to power. Following the coup, the military Junta brought a tyrannical reign of bloodshed, suppression and political reprisal. Pinochet would go on to rule Chile with an iron fist from 1973 until 1990.
The Official US position on the coup was that although the United States government (USG) opposed the Allende government, it was not involved in the coup to remove the far-left socialist government.

The Freedom Movement Spends a Quarter Billion Every Year On Weekend Hangouts... Is It Helping?

So, this is something that has been coming up for me more and more over the last year or so. For those of you who don't know me, I've lived on the road for the last 4 years, and a big part of that has been spent cooking for, speaking at, and working on the production team for dozens of these transformational events (conferences, festivals, retreats).
I am in no way making a claim that these events are not having a positive impact on the world, I have obviously seen a ton of value in them and dedicated much of the last 4 years to creating them.
Let's take a look at a few of these events and some very rough numbers.. Anywhere there is a potential range, I'm leaning towards the low end or the average.

Things happening in the community.
At the @homesteaderscoop website @sagescrub has been putting together a communities section.
@pennsif has had it all happening over at @altlife. On Thursday he had @sagescrub and @wwf on MSP waves for the homesteaders co-op. The homesteaders and preppers list continues to grow and he's started on a list for homeschoolers and unschoolers too. The latest post for information on alternative lifestyle Steem communities is up too.
Over at @naturalmedicine they are running a new contest to win Steem, which runs until Thursday 28th March, and the curation highlights are up.

Celebrating The Forests Through My Words And My Photographs

Oh where would we be without the trees, the lungs of the earth, the givers of life

We have become so dependant on them, yet do we really value them, do we show them the respect that they deserve. We need the trees to breathe, to clean the air around us. We need them to build. To create fires so that we can cook food that sustains us. Fires so that we can sit around and share our stories, sit around and create music. We need the trees for food, for nutrition. The leaves and flowers give us medicine. The fibre is used to make ropes and clothes, the sap for wines. But even more that all of that we need the trees for our own spiritual growth.
