반려견 음식 - Dog Food

오늘은 반려견 음식과 건강에 대해 이야기 해보겠습니다. 반려동물을 기르시는 분들이라면 다들 한번쯤 고민을 하셨을 질문. 어떤 사료, 간식을 먹이는 게 좋을까? 건강을 위해 무얼 먹이고 관리는 어떻게 해야 할까? 반려견을 기르는 입장에서 저의 경험담을 나누고자 합니다.

Today, I will talk about dog food and health. If you are a dog lover, everyone would have been worried once. What kind of food, snacks should I feed? What should I do feed and how take care of for the dogs health? I want to share my experiences.

바비와 마리
Bobby & Mari

바비와 마리입니다. 단모종의 보스턴테리어 견종이죠. 보스턴테리어는 털빠짐이 심한편이고 피부질환과 유전적 관절병을 가지고 태어납니다. 당연히 잦은 병원 방문이 생기고 상당한 치료비가 발생하게 됩니다. 비용도 비용이지만 건강을 생각해 평소에 음식관리와 질병예방이 필요합니다.

My dogs are Bobby and Mari of the Boston Terrier breed. Boston Terrier is born with skin diseases and genetic joint diseases. Of course, frequent visits to hospitals and high treatment costs are incurred. If you are worried about hospital cost and health, you should manage your dogs food and prevent diseases.

사료와 보조제
Dog food and health supplements

사료는 정말 다양한 종류가 있습니다. 가격도 천차만별이죠. 일단 강아지 체질에 맞는 사료를 찾는 과정이 필요합니다. 처음부터 비싼 사료를 먹일 필요는 없고, 가격과 함유물질을 꼼꼼하게 확인 후, 소용량을 일단 구입해서 먹여 보는게 합리적인 방법일 것입니다. 사료를 먹고 알러지나 눈꼽이 많이 끼는 등 이상 현상이 나타나면 그 사료의 함유물질은 자신의 반려견에게 맞지 않는 거죠. 이때 유기농인지, 육류와 곡물의 함량도 보셔야하고 화학물질은 뭐가 들어가는지 잘 보셔야합니다. 근데 저희 바비와 마리는 이것저것 먹여봤지만 역시 비싼게 좋더군요. 우리 개님들은 1등급 오가닉 제품을 드십니다.

There are so many different types of dog food. They vary in price. First, you need to find food that suits your dog's constitution. It may be reasonable to buy and feed a small quantity of food after you have checked the price and ingredients thoroughly, rather than having to start feed expensive dog food. If your dog has an allergic reaction or dirty tears, the ingredients in the feed are not suitable for your dog. You have to check whether your dog food is organic, the meat and grain content, and see what chemicals are in it. Sadly, my dogs were the most suitable for first-grade organic feed. They still like expensive feed.

그리고 저는 사료와 함께 매일 첫 끼에 비타민 젤과 글루코사민을 먹입니다. 비타민은 부족할 수 있는 영양소를 보충하는 차원에서 먹이고 글루코사민은 연골과 뼈 건강을 위해 먹입니다.

And I feed my dogs with vitamin and glucosamine every day. Vitamins are given to compensate for nutrients that may be lacking, and glucosamine is given for cartilage and bone health.

적당량을 먹이자
Right quantity

뼈 건강을 위해 비싼 약을 구해서 한동안 먹였지만 비용이 너무 부담스러워 저렴한 제품으로 바꿨네요. 반려견 전용이 아니니 먹일 때 주의 하셔야합니다. 견종의 크기에 따라 적당한 양을 주시면 됩니다. 저는 하루 반개씩 먹입니다. 참고로 저희 바비의 체중은 10Kg 정도 됩니다.

I bought expensive drugs for bone health and fed them for a while, but I changed them to cheaper ones because they are too expensive. You have to be careful when feeding because it is not for dogs. You can feed right quantity depending on the size of the dog species. I feed it half a piece per day. Bobby weighs about 10 kilograms, so keep in mind.

부작용이 나타나면 사료든 약이든 먹이면 안 됩니다.
Do not feed if side effects are found.

육해공 특식
special meal

사람도 밥만 먹고 살기 힘든데 반려견들도 사료만 먹으면 불만스럽겠죠. 그래서 저는 사료와 함께 건강식으로 연어, 닭고기, 북어, 고구마를 먹입니다. 가공식품 보다는 원재료를 구입해서 직접 손질해서 먹이는 게 건강에 좋겠죠.

Even people can not live by eating one food, but pet dogs would also be unhappy if they only eat feed. So I feed with salmon, chicken, pollack, and sweet potatoes as a healthy food. Buying and cooking ingredients is healthier than processed foods.

소금기 제거
Removal of salt

북어포와 멸치 새우를 넣고 끓이는 모습입니다. 반려견 전용냄비를 사용해 끓이고 물을 버린 후 다시 끓이기를 여러번 거치면 소금기가 제거 됩니다. 소금기 확인은 직접 드셔야 합니다.

You can see it boiling with pollack, anchovy, and shrimp. After boiling it in a pot, throw the water away and boil it a few times to remove the salt. Salt can be checked directly.

완성
Not Poison

사료와 함께 적당히 담아내고 한소끔 식혀서 먹이면 아주 잘 먹습니다. 고구마나 닭고기를 첨가해서 만드셔도 됩니다. 개님들 기호에 맞게 여러 가지 재료로 손쉽게 응용 가능합니다.

It's hot, so you have to cool it down before you feed it. You can make it by adding sweet potatoes and chicken. Add other ingredients to suit your dog's taste.

간식들
Snacks!

간식입니다. 정말 다양한 간식들을 구입해서 먹여보고 수제 간식도 만들어 봤습니다. 건조기를 구입해서 다양한 간식을 직접 만드셔도 되지만 여간 손이 많이 가는 게 아닙니다. 그냥 간식은 수제 간식을 사서 먹이는 게 제일입니다. 이때 비용이 부담스러울 때는 유통기한이 얼마 남지 않은 제품을 구입하여 냉동 보관 하시면 됩니다. 유통기한 지나도 문제없습니다.

It's a snack. I bought, tried, and made all kinds of hand-made snacks. You can buy a dryer and make a variety of snacks, but it takes a long time. It is best to buy and feed hand-made snacks. If it is too expensive, you can purchase goods with limited shelf life and refrigerate them. It doesn't matter if the expiration date is over.

음식은 일단 방향이 정해지면 구입해서 먹이는 일만 남아서 그다지 어렵지 않습니다. 문제는 피부관리와 귀 청소, 치아관리 정도가 되겠네요. 이 세 가지도 질병이 발생하면 병원비가 상당한 부담이 됩니다.

Dog food is not difficult because you only have to buy and feed it. The problem may be skin care, ear cleaning, and dental care. For these three diseases, hospital cost are very expensive.
