One (or two) photo everyday: Epiphany – The eating of the Gingerbread House. (195/365)
Hello!
I wouldn't mind having a house like that somewhere in the middle of a forest. :)
Camera body: Canon EOS 550D
Lens: Sigma ART 50 mm ƒ/1.4
Aperture: ƒ/1.4
Exposure: 1/200 s
ISO: Dual-ISO 100+200
Looks very idyllic I should say. Tasty too.
Today we put the Christmas tree away too. And I went and exchanged those Yesterday's skis to 140 cm length pair, so that Miro can ski too. Too bad they didn't have ski poles to go with them. I will need to find him some new ones as his old ones are too short.
Anyway, back to the gingerbread house...
The boys wouldn't mind eating it...
Camera body: Canon EOS 550D
Lens: EF-S18-55mm ƒ/3.5-5.6 III
Focal length: 29 mm
Aperture: ƒ/4.5
Exposure: 1/200 s
ISO: Dual-ISO 100+200
Good thing there aren't any evil witches around... ;)
Off Topic, but I thought about videos, and that I could probably copy those I have on Youtube to DTube, and since I've already made a couple of them, start making new ones.
There was this one photo I was asked about how to join multiple focus photos into one, I could perhaps do a howto video on that...
Perhaps.

Lovely photo. You inspired me to start this challenge and I'm now on day 6/365.
Thanks! Hey great to hear you joined the challenge! I'm rooting for you now, you can do it! :)
Thank you so much for the support and encouragement. I challenged @adamrant to join the challenge. i love doing this, It requires commitment and determination.
A wonderful treat for children, my friend and this gingerbread house is a real culinary art. Thank you @gamer00
This is a real confectionery masterpiece, even to eat it as a pity. Thank you for sharing.
A nice gingerbreadhouse you had there. How did you manage to not eat it till Epiphany??
This year we didn't have a gingerbreadhouse but usually we do because my mother-in-law makes it for us. It doesn't last too long though and some parts of it are eaten before christmas eve. :D
I don't know how it is for you, but we kept the whole thing under the cellophane wrapper in which it came with, and placed on top of a shelf where the kids can't reach it. We explicitly make it sure that it is within tradition to get to eat it on Epiphany. :)
If she didn't, ask your mother-in-law to wrap it in cellophane the next time so it doesn't dry up and you don't get tempted to get a taster before it is to be eaten.
Oh, it is wrapped in cellophane. It just doesn't stop me from eating some parts like ladders, candy on the top of the roof, fireplace, christmas trees outside the house, door and candy inside the house which is reachable after the door is gone. :)
I guess our tradition is to eat the house during whole december. Before christmas eve it happens in a sneaky way so no one sees you (that is a part of the fun) and after christmas we eat all that is left. There is still a lot of it on christmas eve. :)
Ah, now I get it, you received it too soon! :) Ask if she would give the gingerbread house just before Christmas eve, that way it'll stay fresh till Epiphany and there's a lot less temptation to eat it right away. ;)
I'll consider that. :)
Creativity creativity and more creativity
Every day we enjoy the new, my friend @gamer00
The knife in the school, now the cottage-shaped cake
And yes it is better to publish a video on #YouTube and share it with us
Haha your house in a forest would be eaten by the kids but in a moment, but you would still have the chance to take lovely photos of the process. btw what do you do, when you are out ideas for taking a new photo?
Now that's a lovely thought. :D
Hmm... I would probably just take a photo and worry about the ideas later. Although... I kind of did touch that subject in an older post with a different approach. I believe they both work.
Thank you i will read it, actually I want to take some photos but I don't have a clue to what, take the photo and leave the ideas for later, so simple.
Finally the house is eaten! They've probably been waiting to eat that awhile now lol. Now I wish I made a gingerbread house this year that I could be eating :(.
I like how it looks, but there's something that catches my attention and it seems like it's illuminated from the inside, It is part of the effect or if lit from within?
LEDs. :)
Lol
was not wrong, if it was illuminated from inside: P Thx
Again it looks great and tasty
Lol. I'd eat that thing in one day. Before witches come back.
It's just too delicious.
Woah........Absolutely brilliant creativity. What a fantastic moment for both of them. They eating house parts. :D. Super delicious photo click @gamer00.
