Helm Software Synth - Patch Browser
Patch Browser
Helm has a unique Patch Browser for saving, exporting and auditioning patches.
Before digging into the Patch Browser, what is a patch? A patch is a sound you create in Helm. We call it a patch because in the analogue synthesis world we would use many patch cables to connect one hardware module to another and another and another - "Patch."

First saving - When saving in Helm you first click SAVE in the top right of the window. You must give you patch a name, choose the author (you), choose a Bank and choose a Folder within that Bank.
If you want to send a Patch to a friend you will need to use Export. That process is straightforward and will provide you with a file you can send to a friend.
Browsing is pretty straightforward. You can click Browse and go through the patches or you click the left and right arrows in the mini-browser to quickly go through the patches.
I hope you have enjoyed this video tutorial on Helm. There will be more tutorials to follow.
Cheers,
