Coup Scooters
In my last post I introduced the LIDL Bikes. On the same spot there were many Scooters so I looked into it and the Scooters are Pay as you go Scooters by Coup. You pay 3 Euro for the first 30 Minutes and you will only need an Smartphone app to open the lock and drive the Scooter. After the first 30 Minutes Every Minute costs 0,10 Euro.

Great Idea !
The Scooters look great. Really love the design. I won't use them as I don't want to die. Too dangerous for me to drive, but for many this might be another great alternative transportation option. In peak hours you will definitely faster than a Car/ Cab. And 3 hour for 30 Minutes is a fair price, a Metro Ticket costs 2,70 Euro now.

To me it looks like a great idea. Do you first have to register your license, or do the cellphone app have a scanning function to scan your licence bar-code?
You should try riding a scooter some time, it is real fun.

Is it 3 euro for the first 3 minutes (like you said above), or first 30 minutes?
Basically it sounds like it costs 30 euro for the first 30 minutes, and then 0,10 euro for each additional minute?
What is the agreement in terms of refilling the tank?

That's a pretty good deal! Perfect for getting around town or doing small errands. I wish we had more scooters in the US.

jep finde ich auch ziemlich cool die dinger. wuerde ich nicht nutzen weil ich nicht in gross staedteen sowas fahre. angst vor unfall ;) eventuell mal abends wenn ich in berlin wohin muss. aber muss erstmal meinen fuehrerschein wieder besorgen ;)
ich glaube ich steige auf so eine kiste auch nicht mehr.... nach meinem Motorrad Unfall muss ich das nicht haben.... Führerschein besorgen??? verlegt oder wie?? hihi**

I missed the price of renting bikes. Is it comparable?
call a bike has 30 free minutes for every ride and you pay a flat fee of 27euro per year.
you could rent for 1.80euro for 60 minutes. so the bike is very cheap
