Yes, they actually did.
It's the Market Ground Bobby, a tribute statue to the police who used to watch over and keep order in the market grounds in the town of Oulu.
It has a very distinct appearance. Very artistic.

I didn't have much time (or stamina) for being up late having a drink, although a beer is always good. (I did have one at the Mexican restaurant.)
I would've liked to go to the sauna and swimming pool though.

Thanks! We had a great night sleep, and a hearty breakfast at the hotel restaurant. As we are now replenished we'll be doing some sightseeing in Oulu, and find a playground for the kids to roam for a while. :)
