Leo was invited to two somewhat similar themed birthday's this weekend; "Movies" and "Harry Potter", so we whacked two flies with one swatter and dressed him as a Gryffindor for both.

Leaving for Hogwarts perhaps?

ISO: Dual-ISO 100+200

I had to use flashgun for this, and it kept dying (maybe the batteries are out of juice already), so I ended up taking quite a few shots, and Leo was growing a bit weary keeping the smile up. Anyway, I think it worked out. The problem wasn't so much the smile as it was the composing of the shot. Using a 50 mm on a crop sensor camera isn't very easy when you try to take portraits in small spaces.

Also, we have quite a lot of crappy furniture like that shelf on the left of the picture, and they end up in the photos pretty much automatically, because I couldn't take the shot in a clutter free space because those are a bit too small in our apartment.

Ended up using vignetting in post. I hate vignetting, but I couldn't help it, the shelf was just too ugly.

So t'was my 167th photo in the project. I am progressing, but I'm not sure if I'm improving a lot. I might need to get rid of somethings we have collected and accumulated in our life as hamsters.
