Goodbye, old year, welcome, new year.
Is this just me, or did this year pass so quickly that, when it's over, it's like it's still brand-new?
It didn't waste itself a bit, it passed by at a glance, as soon as it began it was already over.
Yet, we still managed to do, love, and live a lot. But it ended up not being enough to do everything we wanted to, due to the speed it went through. As if it were a strong flow that ended up being partially wasted. Sometimes a little, sometimes a lot. Time, mostly, we end up not enjoying the time, we let time slip through our fingers.

Adeus, ano velho, bem-vindo, ano novo.
Sou só eu que acho, ou o ano passa tão depressa que, quando acaba, ainda está novinho em folha?
Nem se gasta, passa num ápice, assim que começa, acaba.
Acaba por dar tempo para fazer muito, para amar muito, viver muito.
Mas não chega para tudo, tal é a velocidade com que passa.
Como se fosse um caudal tão forte que acabamos por desperdiçar grande parte.
Por perder, às vezes pouco, às vezes muito.
Perder principalmente o tempo, deixar de viver o tempo, deixá-lo escapar por entre os dedos.

That's why I always say that I miss what I haven't done.
The year goes by so fast that it's lost, flowing in an amount we can't withhold.
With exception of what we plan to do, of what we dream.
That, my friends, we never lose, it can't be lost, no one can't take it away from us.
My resolution for the new year is simple but full of meaning: to live.
To be alive.
Together with those I love, to live and be eager to enjoy every second, to love every second.

Por isso digo sempre que tenho saudades do que não vivi.
O ano passa tão depressa que se perde, jorra numa quantidade que não se consegue reter.
A não ser reter o que se planeia fazer, o que se sonha.
Que isso nunca se perde, que isso nunca se perca, que ninguém nunca nos tire.
A minha resolução para o novo ano é simples, e é tudo: é viver.
Estar viva.
Com os meus, viver e ambicionar viver cada segundo, amar cada segundo.

And more aware of everything and everyone that surrounds me.
To dream more, to bless more, every moment, to be amazed by the little nothings, by the gestures, and the moments.
To grab the life fully, to be better, to accept, to do my share for making a better world.
And to smile, to touch, to spread good attitudes and positive spirit, to encourage, to fill others with enthusiasm and be enthusiastic.

I have a whole year ahead, full of possibilities.
It looks huge, apparently.
I'm going to pretend it will not end suddenly.
And even if it does, it will always give me time to add more wishes to my bucket list :).
