Nesta sexta trago-vos um caso de Amor, de um amor incondicional que, desde sempre, fez o mundo crescer e desenvolver-se.

This Friday I'm bringing you a Love Issue, the kind of unconditional love that has always made the world go forward.

Ou, para ser mais concreta, não é um amor, mas sim dois:

O amor de uma mãe pelo seu filho
O amor pela música.

Or, to be more precise, it´s not one, but two:

The love of a mother to his child, and
The love for music.

Deixem-me explicar, porque neste caso os dois amores estão ligados:
O meu amor pelo meu filho António, que me mostrou um amor maior do que a vida.

Let me explain, because, in this case, these two loves are intertwined:
My love for my son António, my first child that came to show me a love greater than life.

Este meu filho é um sonhador, uma alma maravilhosa, o filho mais querido que uma mãe pode querer. Mas com os pés bem assentes na terra. Sempre adorou música, mas, por razões práticas, decidiu formar-se em veterinária (sempre adorou animais também!)

This son of mine is a dreamer, a beautiful soul, the sweetest son a mother can ask for. With his feet well grounded. He loves music since he was a child, but, for practical reasons, he decided to graduate as a Vet (as he always loved animals too!).

Mas, não tendo o seu amor pela música amainado, antes crescido com o tempo, decidiu, para além de tocar os seus instrumentos, começar a compor, e tentar a sua sorte na música. Porque só assim será feliz. Ele tem todo o meu apoio e incentivo, porque sei de sobra que só conseguimos ser felizes se fizermos o que nos apaixona. Nunca de outra forma.

However, love for music has been overwhelming him, and, further to keep playing several instruments, he decided to start composing and publishing music, and is willing to give himself a try in this area. Because he will only be happy if he does so. I will give him my support and strength, as I know by now that we only can be happy when we do what passionates us. Never otherwise.
