Preamble: How old is our civilization? The answer to this question keeps changing over the last 2,000 years and will continue to change as we learn more and more about “our past”. One thing is clear – our “civilization” isn’t the first to have existed on this planet.

Just how many civilizations existed before us? The “oldest” civilization that is widely accepted at this time is the Sumerian which is believed to have existed around 4000 BC. Not everyone agrees though since several other pieces of “history” are not accounted for. The giants mentioned in the bible, the “fluvial” erosion in the body of the Sphinx in Egypt that could not have occurred before 10,000 BC, the Nephilim mentioned in Genesis (6:4) who took earthy women for wives who gave birth to the “giants”, the Anunnakis - believed to have created humans by altering ape’s DNA and ruled over earth for over 400,000 years plus the recent discovery of a 700,000-Year-Old Stone Tools found in the Philippines used to butcher a Rhino.

History as we know it is incomplete and convoluted with mythology. But advances in technology is allowing us to separate history from myths.

Who or what created us and for what purpose? I think this is the ultimate riddle that sentient beings like us should strive to get an answer for. Imagine that you woke up one day with no memory of who you are. Would you not spend the rest of your life finding out who you really are, who your parents were, whether you have a family etc.? In a way, this is what happened to us. We forgot. Or maybe something tricked us to forget our true nature and our rightful place in the universe.

It is clear that "higher knowledge" has been deliberately hidden from us for thousands of years. Therefore, you and me are beholden to uncover and bring this information out to enlighten the world. To end the battle between knowledge and ignorance. To free us from the obstruction caused by established dogmas and lies; for this knowledge could lead us to a greater understanding of our universe and of ourselves.

Yahweh According to Gnostic Christian

In the early Christianity there were two mainstreams: the Paulinian and the Gnostic Christians.

Saul had pursued Christians until he converted and became Paul. The year of his conversion is estimated to be between 33 and 35. The Paulinian Christianity began to develop only after that. Who were the Christians that Paul pursued? They will especially have been the so called Christian Jews. This concept refers to groups among the earliest Christianity, to which belonged Jews who still adhered to Jewish customs - like Jesus and his disciples themselves.

Out of these Christian Jews arose the movement of the Gnostic Christians. Because of his views, Paul cam into a conflict with this original Christianity.

Hence the Paulinian Christianity didn’t arise out of the original Christianity, and with Paul, who hadn’t known Jesus himself, an obviously modified Christianity began, that distanced itself from the Christianity close to Jesus that was in the beginning. For the Gnostics, the creator of this world wasn’t the true prime creator, but a demiurg, a “craftsman”, a fallen angel, who also has an evil side.

While the real God, the true prime creator (who Jesus calls 4 “father”) is unrestrictedly good, an imperfect demiurg created an imperfect world. The Demiurge was originally sent out by the good God to create the world but [he then] established himself here as an independent deity, that is, he gave himself out to be the Most High and [now] holds captive in his creation the souls which [in truth, instead] belong to the supreme God."

It has been shown that the Gnostics identified this imperfect demiurg-“god” with the god of the Old Testament, who they also called Yaldabaoth (Ilda-Baoth or Ialdabaoth ) , who wants to keep humans in a state of ignorance in a material world and who punishes their attempts to achieve knowledge and insight (to “eat from the tree of knowledge”).

The creator God named Yadabaoth who is described as the Child of Chaos, and was the son of Sophia (wisdom) in Gnostic Cosmogenesis. Yaldabaoth is called an angel in the apocryphal Gospel of Judas.

He is first mentioned in “The Cosmos, Chaos, and the Underworld” as one of the twelve angels to come “into being [to] rule over chaos and the [underworld]”. In the “Gospel of Nicodemus,” Yaldabaoth is called Satan, and Dante called the Devil simply a worm.

The following are forms, substantive and in combination, of certain names of the Supreme Being—the primary forms in each case being, so far as known, not yet determined.

(1.) Iene, Iehu, Ieuo, Iaou, Iao, Aoh, Ao, Ai, Oa, Iah, la. Ie, Io, In, low, Ion, Iaore, Iehovah, love, En, Ue, Ya. Yao, Ha, He, Ho, Hn, Bud-Hu, Brum-Hn, Iu-Pater, Ia-Pheth, Ia-Petns, Zeus, Zeuth, Deus, Deu, Ia-chus, Ba-Ia-chus or Bacchus, AlTJe, Elel-Eu, Elel-Eus, Io-BeU Adon-Ai, Elo-Ah, AU-Ah.

(2.) Al, El, E, 01, UL Bal, Bel, Baal, Beel, Bfl, Bol, Bui. Pul, Abel, Abello, Apollo, Ath-EL Sal, Sel, Sol, Sul, Al-Eu, Elel-Eu, ElelEus, Eloah, Allah, Helios, (Elohim) (Atim, Elim).

(3.) God, Od, Gott, Goth, Gothin, Cot, Cotta, Khoda, Chudai. Gaid (Gaid-El), Gad, Ad, Adad, Cuth, Cush, Gath, Ath, Aith, Guth, Gud, Gude, Gudan, Guodan, Wodan, Woden, Odin, (Gododin), Edin, Eden, Edon, Ed, Weden, Wedne, Aden, Gaden, Dan, Titan, Danaus, Dianus^ Ianus, Adonai, Adonis, Poseidon, Othin, Oth, Ouvin, On, Oud, Weda, Gautama, Pagod, Bod, Bud. Buth, Budh, Budha, Budhu, Boodh, Bhood, Buddin, Boutta, Poota, Poth, Pot, Fo, Foo, Fohi.

In the last section is included the name of Titan, so renowned in ancient tradition, and which would be pronounced Tetan or Dedan, evidently meaning De-Dan = the God Dan, Eden, or Odin. Teutones is no doubt a form of the same expression— denoting the worshippers of the Deu or God Odin. Edon, it may be remarked, forms part of Caledonia.

There were other forms and combinations of these names of the Supreme Being;

The demiurg is a lesser god who wants to be the only one.

The text The Apokryphon of John (or The Secret Book of John) states:

“He is impious in his madness, she who dwells in him. For he said, ‘I am God and no other god exists except me’, since he is ignorant of the place from which his strength had come”.

Could this be the explanation of all the abominable cruelties, which after all are literally described in the Old Testament?

A similar view was expressed by Marcion, the first theologian who made a difference between the God of Love in the New Testament and an evil god of the Old Testament.

thanks for reading my post. It's more of a hobby/personal interest. I've read all Sitchin's books plus many others since I was in high school...long long time ago. The subject never lost its power to ignite the curiosity inside me. I can do this full time had the income from Steemit pays the bills but unfortunately not.

You should consider reading about Erich von Däniken works. This guys helped translate the Scripture from Hebrew to English while at the university. And the first thing he noticed was that the "god" describe in the old testament couldn't be the real God. The true creator for example does not need a 'spacecraft made of shiny metal emitting smoke and fire" to travel from point A to point B. But the "god" in the old testament does use spacecraft. Its also a very temperamental "god" who destroys nations and massacre "his creations' by the millions just because of minor offences. There's so much inconsistencies in the Scripture that in time will not hold and we move higher in conciousness.
